After getting to the register...... The card reader would not read my card.... The young lady "Kirestin" told me to put my card number in manually.....I told her she would have to do it because I didn't have my glasses and couldn't see to do it....She told me the whole order would have to be re-rung at the self checkout......( I think she was waiting for me to say no....( I'll do it).........instead I said "ok".......Soooo she reluctently followed me to the self checkout and proceeded to take everything out of my bags to re-ring each item.........that's when her attitude changed....... She was clearly upset about having to do her job ? ........Theses young kids now a days don't even know how lucky they are to have a job....... They certainly don't have customer service skills......I've owned my own business for 30 years!!!If she'd been my employee,, she'd have been spoken to about her attitude......On my way out the door I thanked her politely for her help......Poor upset Kirestin...... The educated response to thank you...... is your welcome.............NOT an unethusiastc ugh hu?One more note as to the the unprofessional attitude....: As I returned my cart back into the store it was clear that I was being talked about........ That's always fun ?Definitely NOT my go to store

Found what we needed. Staff was friendly. We used the self checkout which was super easy and convenient.

Today I had to call ahead to see if you had ice packs. I've been having trouble walking and I've been in a lot of pain. I wish I could remember the associates name that helped me. He was able to put several ice packs aside for me. He greeted me and was sympathetic to my needs. It's good to know that customer service still exist!

Totally a mess! You cannot walk through the aisle. There is stuff piled up everywhere. Shelves are not stocked. They need help. More employees to be able to handle the store. Hancock Md doesn't have much choice. I hope they put more effort into hiring employees to keep the ones that are working their less overwhelmed.Probably need a new manager too.

Almost was impossible to shop unless you could use a basket only then you would still not be able to see,reach certain items as carts,etc stacked high with inventory totes & boxes, down the isles,some isles were literally full and blocked with inventory sitting stacked uopn each other, items laying on the floor out of totes etc felt like swerving through a maze,to just get cornered to turn around to find another way to items you want then try to move orvslide totes,carts from against the shelves so you can find what you're looking for. Obviously way understaffed.. nobody was stocking inventory,nobody to help find items etc (she seemed to wonder aimlessly through the mazes not sure where to start) she was the only staff person I seen other than the only cashier there who was a polite,professional young man. P.s. Covid issues can't be their only excuse,that store has always been like that,total chaos until nobody wanted to shop there then a couple of yrs ago it got re vamped, new hires etc and the store looked wonderful,not dirty anymore,no more tripping over everything etc.. Main problem is managers etc dont train staff nowhere near adequately,always scheduling issues plus its a low wage paying company which I know they're a top retailer in America which leads to frustration and employees then stop caring or stop doing their job..the turnover rate is insane!!
