Old, tired, and long, long past its prime. Although the restaurant is obviously a local long time favorite and is kept very clean, nearly everything is in need of replacement: floors, walls, ceiling tiles, furniture, dishes, silverware, menus... And the food was old as well - my open face turkey sandwich was dry and flavorless, and it's anyone's guess how long the sides had been taken out of their cans. Based on the other reviews, I really wanted to like it more. Unfortunately there is not much there to like.

Nice family run joint. Serve breakfast all day, good omelet and fried egg sandwich.

I've eaten here maybe 10 times over the last several years, drawn by decent fried chicken after church. The rolls served with your meal are freshly baked and warm, yum! They have a good bakery, fresh breads and goodies, yum yum! They get 4 stars mainly for the bakery.

Best pie and crust!!! The crust was flaking as I cut into it. Light, flaky crust with delicious fruit fillings that aren't too sweet. The wild berry is the bomb with hints of tart. Buy an entire pie to take home and share.

Simple menu but had a burger and was very pleased. Pie was also good and service was very good.

Couldn't handle the limited highway fast food options, so went into Hancock, MD for a real lunch. Parked right outside, quickly served an excellent and good value lunch, and resumed journey with easy access to I-70.

My family has been going to this place after bike rides on the C&O for as long as I can remember so it already holds a special place in my heart. This past summer my brother and I got stranded in Hancock for a day when we were feeling too bad to complete Pittsburg to DC and were at some all time lows. It felt so good to be back!

Not a bad place to eat. Service is friendly. I stopped in for a quick lunch and ordered a tuna sandwich. Don't expect a deli style sandwich. It was about two spoonfuls of tuna on wheat toast. Not a great sandwich, but good enough.

Great sturdy standards. Breakfast all day, friendly owners.Covid almost killed them. Swing in and get them back on their feet.Pie is good. The sausage patties are excellent and the coffee is strong.

I've always enjoyed Weaver's. This is my first visit in a few years - food is good and inexpensive.

Traditional American diner fare, but nothing fancy. Very good and patient service. Almost no vegetarian or vegan options, but I must admit that the oatmeal hit the spot after a long run on the C&O Canal.

Looked for a local restaurant to eat at on our drive from illinois to Delaware. The pie was absolutely delicious!!! I had coconut creme and it had real home made meringue whipped high. I think it was the best pie I ever had.
