I am a new member at this gym. I signed up a few months ago. I enjoy both the amount and variety of equipment that is available. There are enough weights and machines that you can substitute exercises easily if what you need is not available. Some areas are a tight squeeze and you have to maneuver around the equipment to get around. As a small person, this does not bother me too much, but it does bother some people. It is an open air gym as it has like garage style doors that stay open during warm seasons. So, on days where the air quality is terrible (from the Canadian fires), I choose not to go to the gym. It gets hot, but they do have industrial fans around the gym. I may not come during winter as I hate being cold and can’t imagine how cold it gets. I used to go to planet fitness, but the lack of equipment available there is crazy. This gym has a lot of benches so finding one for squat thrusts is usually no problem. There are lots of body building portraits all over the walls for motivation. I like that any purchases you make (i.e. protein shake) can just be put on your filed card.

Solid gym, equipment is a bit tight to get to get around. Music would be greatly appreciated and more mirrors. The pictures on the wall are the absolute best motivating factor at the top of the squeeze. If you're not stacked, jacked or tight do better. This gym definitely offers a serious workout only type of vibe!

Note: I do not belong to this gym, at least not yet.I found this place while cycling and decided to stop in. I spoke with who I believe is the owner. He was personable and let me take a look around. The gym was clean and stacked with plent of equipment, everything appeared to be in working order and newer. I didn't see anyone waiting on equipment. The membership prices seemed very fair to me. They also offer personal training.

I LOVED this gym. I am only here for a little while to visit family and needed a lift. This was the best place to go. Such a good environment. Was debating on staying another day in town just to go back to the gym.

Staff is friendly and very helpful. They took the time to help sign in a guest for my black card membership. They keep it organized and clean and check up on you to make sure you're doing okay.

Powerhouse is a fantastic, no frills, lifters and bodybuilders gym. Every time I'm in the area visiting I get a pass to powerhouse. Their pricing is a great deal if you're looking for a short term membership or if you're lucky enough to call this place your home gym it is also excellent monthly. This place has done a major equipment overhaul - all the cardio machines are nice and new, weights are plentiful, and good lord there are so many toys to play with. Tons of traditional weights (up to 200lb dbs!!), machines, and iso-lateral plate loaded hammer strength cages. You name it, they probably have it. If you're looking for a sports fitness club this isn't the place. If you're looking for an iron paradise, you just found heaven.

Great atmosphere and people. There are gyms closer to my home, but I choose to come to this one because of the friends I've met here. Powerhouse has all the equipment you need and then some. Important note: there is no A/C in workout areas

I have been part of this gym for 6 years now. Best atmosphere, members and staff are supportive and great. Brand new cardio section and recent editions to equipment/weights. Best membership prices you can get around.

I am in love with this gym. The employees are so nice and very helpful. It stays pretty clean. Also the members all are respectful and it’s overall a very good atmosphere. The membership is also very cheap relative to the quality. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

The only gym I ever go to anymore - the best atmosphere for people who want to better themselves, whether it be for better health/fitness or bodybuilding- the members & staff are the friendliest and most hard working people! The equipment is just as equally as awesome, the owner, is always bringing in better machines and weights for the members. 1000/10 would always recommend coming here

Really awesome atmosphere and people! Despite having a more serious and classic gym style, everyone is super friendly and you feel accepted no matter where you are in your fitness journey. Awesome staff as well. Fav gym I've ever been to!
