Every time I come here there’s an extremely long line and one person working the register. The other employees are doing whatever walking around and the line takes ages to get through. Dissatisfied. And the employees are often rude

Angel at the Arundel Mills Ulta is extremely rude. She clearly has never been trained on customer service. She told me the drunk elephant drops were available: when I get to the store everyone is saying it must have been a miscommunication. She then puts my return on the wrong gift card…. This has been an over all disaster. She was rude from the time we were on the phone (hanging up twice) and when I got to the store she was trying to argue with me like IM NOT THE CUSTOMER?

More while supplies last signs should be posted during their promotions. You can’t tell me I get a free fenty Fanny pack then 3 minutes later say oh they are gone. The GM needs to do better

I wish I could give this salon (specially stylist Denise) zero stars for what she did. I wish I listened to the reviews about her. She is very unprofessional. Got to my appointment about 10 minutes late because I couldn’t find parking. She cancels my appointment while I’m walking towards Ulta. I go in and she’s like “oh I can’t take you, I already logged out of the system. I need to go pick up my son”First of all, why would you let someone book for that time if you have to go pick up your son in the first place. This was ridiculous, I am never coming here again and won’t recommend this place to anyone at all.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED - Drove 20 minutes to this location only after being told by " Alexandria" that my requested item was in stock and she would hold it at the front counter for me to pick up. Upon arrival the item was not at the front as promised NOR did they have the item at the store. The only response from others in the store was "I'm sorry". When asked to speak with her I was informed " she'd doing paperwork" and not available. As a previous district manager for a major retail chain and current business owner it is always, when possible, to resolve customer issues. Alexandria nor anyone in the store tried to resolve the problem or offer any compliment for my trouble. I was asked to try another store that was almost 30 minute drive away. I would NEVER go to another ULTA again. Second negative experience at this location and with the same person. The only reason you get one star is to make the post. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I booked hair and makeup appointments for my daughter. Stylist calls to see if I can come later than my time. I give her 30 mins and asks if she can have her done by 3. When we arrive she has someone in her chair so has another stylist do my daughters make up. She was terrible. No smile no convo no blending of contouring. I had to ask her several times to fix little things. When she finally begins her hair it’s now 2 into the time we started. She then flatirons her hair in order to curl it. I know that’s a wrong move because it will not curl so I tell her that. She proceeds to curling and long story short her hair was flat for prom. What a terrible experience. Don’t book. Unprofessional stylists. Acting like they’re doing you a favor.

Much of the makeup looked expired. The store was a mess. Used q-tips everywhere out in the open, no trash receptacles to be seen. I would not buy anything at this location.

Would highly recommend another place of business solely due to unprofessionalism. My friend and I booked an appointment a week ago. Two days ago my friends got a call saying her appointment was being moved to a later time. Today was both of our appointments and 20 minutes ago the stylist for my friend called out sick. I called to see if my friend could take my appointment as they would take about the same time as she was getting her roots fixed and i was getting highlights. The lady that answered the phone was one, not very knowledgeable but rude on top of that. I asked to speak with the stylist I booked with to verify that we COULD NOT switch per the receptionist. My stylist called back and was about to cancel my appointment as she was over booked (at this point I would not even want it!!). My stylist was kind over the phone so I will give them that but how realistic is it that two friends can find another appointment same day!! Do not recommend if you are looking to get your hair done on the day you booked.

The store was very clean, plenty of staff to help with any questions or needs you might have. 3 or more registers open, it was Christmas eve morning and they had me in and out of the store in under 10 minutes with everything i intended on purchasing.

Love the staff, everyone is so friendly. They helped me with products and suggested things I hadn't heard about. If they couldn't find something, they had the option of delivering it to my home. These ladies are up to date with all of their knowledge. I've noticed a lot of complaints have been geared to these people just doing company policy. I had a fantastic trip here and plan to go back.
