“As a new resident of Havre de Grace, I appreciate how Vulcan Materials handles its river operations. The tug boats work at all hours quietly to place the barges on a mooring ball (I suppose) offshore to later be transported down the Bay. I have noticed that over holiday weekends in season, they refrain from leaving the barges which is extremely kind of them with all the additional boating traffic in the water. The tug boats are also lighted in interesting ways which makes them so nice to watch. Over Christmas, there was one decorated with Santa and a green lighted tree design. People at Vulcan seem to care about their work, and the residents, and it is appreciated.”
