I got 2 subs today thinking that herbs on the curve was like they used to be well they r not put it to you like this I got two subs a 12 and an 8 inch it may have weighed 1 pound I was so disappointed when I got home and opened it up to find out there was one sprinkle of cheese on my pizza sub and my dad got a cheeseburger sub and it nasty why change the taste you used to have you are scaring away your customers not good business I'm not a happy customer

Subs are great but when did it start that the minute you order you are told to go wait outside. It was crazy hot today and I probably would have looked around and bought some chips and something sweet to go with my sub but I was told to go wait outside and when I started to say I'm just going to look around I got huffed at. I will not be returning even though the food is great.

Customer service isn't that good. I walk up to pay for my stuff which was an alcoholic beverage, the lady cashier didn't even greet me or say hi. She immediately asked for my ID and rudely asks me to remove my glasses because she can't see my face. I look young so I get it but not the best way to deal with a customer.

Best Turkey Club sandwich I can ever remember having! The turkey meat is juicy and the lettuce and red, ripe tomato are both fresh? The thin bacon is lean and cooked nice and crispy-crumbly! Herb's makes a GREAT sandwich!!!

(Disclaimer: this review is for my 1 visit, our 2 sandwiches and the overall experience. They have a lot of food options, salads, and more, and a food amount of regulars who have a lot of great things go to say) 1 star to support a small, local place routed in their traditions of being a deli and a liquor store. It's a small place, cramped in several regards but you get what your stuff and move on (no seating). Cheesesteak - idk how they made this. No evidence of a grill. The bread was the best part. Asked for fried onions and got raw. Asked for hots and, nope! It was ok, "mid" as the kids say. Turkey sub - an avg turkey sub, but for the price of $10... for a small, there's a guy named Mike down the street who will make you a better sub. Been here. Tried it. No plans to return. Also, liquor store prices are inflated.

I lived in Darlington for a while and visited this place for a sandwich, a few times. It is still the best sandwich I remember ever eating. It was made by a guy with mild hearing issues, but he deserves to win gold at the sandwich Olympics. Several gold, actually.

You will not find a better place to get an Italian sub in har co maybe even the state than this little country corner liquor store. The absolute BEST Italian sub, there’s just no place better. Decent selection of beer, wine, and liquors as well.

Their subs / hoagies are amazing! (especially the Italian and their shrimp salad (currently only offered on Fridays and Saturdays))
