About Lock House Museum
The Lock Museum is a pretty good free museum. The lock is well preserved and even has water in it, which is kinda rare. The building is tiny and underwhelming but has some nice artifacts. The staff is very knowledgeable about how the locks and canal system worked and has lots of historical information about this canal and how it was connected to the canals in Pennsylvania. The people who work there are all very friendly and helpful. Events a wine and jazz festival nice entertainment, good food, good wine, good music, good weather and a clean environment, good deals and good folks.
