Very bad experience. Checked in, was told our room was around back, and gave no directions on how to get there. Finally figured out we had to walk out a door that locks after you, into basically an alleyway. The rooms "around back" were downstairs and the doors to each room led directly to the outside. Which was concerning as people were loitering in the front parking lot.The room was very dirty, with stained toilet paper, spiders in the shower, spots on the wall, and leaking toilet and sink, The fridge did not work, nor did the TV, or phone. The room smelled bad. The blinds did not cover all the way.Besides all of that, we decided to check out immediately, due to not feeling safe. People were pacing outside of our door. We could see that because the light from outside was visible from the gap under the door. Since we were in the back we had to circle the building to the front to check out. Walking into the lobby I looked over to my car noticing a giant utility van was parked next to me. I saw someone tampering with my car. I set the alarm off and they hopped into the van and sped away to the highway. Very lucky to have left when we did or my car could have very well been gone the next morning. Understanding this is not necessarily the hotels' fault, however just not a safe location in general. The employee at the front desk was not very helpful. Thankfully we were able to find another hotel and felt much safer and cleaner there. However, no refund was made or any compensation.

Horrible hotel, they actually overbooked their hotel. We came at the hotel after a long trip, and the front office lady told us we can’t have our room even though we paid for this room!! We paid for the room and the hotel was neither able to host us neither able to refund us immediately. The hotel is dirty, there is no hand sanitizer. No nothing.Very disappointed, they didn’t even help us finding a new hotel. Please, do not book a room in this hotel even if it’s cheap, because you’re not even sure to have your room neither be refunded. Overall, you’re taking a risk losing money and time.

Nice place with good rooms. We booked 3 rooms and sadly two of them had AC issues and they couldn’t give us other rooms as all were full.

Mattress had brown stains on them. Holes in the wall. The tub faucet wouldn’t stop leaking. It felt like we were in the hood

I had a horrible experience at this hotel, poor quality service, smoking rooms are indeed horrible. Reserved a non smoking room but was not available upon arrival to check in, was given a smoking room . Did request a change of room and was granted by the staff on the last night. Had to wait long for rooms to be cleaned when arrived out of state to the hotel after a 6 hour drive. Breakfast was non existent, customer service unbelievably bad. Was charged twice for one of the rooms. Will definitely not stay there ever.Food & drinks: Poor breakfast meal

Nice spot for a hotel, bars, food places and gas stations are right by it. Only gave a 4 start because the AC wasn't good in the room I was in. But overall it's a good price hotel. I would stay again but check the AC first.

It appeared that the rooms had been freshly remodeled. They were very clean up to date. Bathroom was very clean. Plenty of towels and fluffy towels. Bed was very comfortable. We had a king room. We were staying with a dog and they were very accommodating for our pet. Will definitely stay here again if we're in this area and would recommend it to anybody.

The smoking rooms here are horrible. There is no other way to put it. They are in the back along with the dumpster. They have rodents in all of the furniture that pee and spray. There was a big roach in the refrigerator. Yes..in the refrigerator. The smell is awful, and you can't really open your door to air the room out. Between the smell outside from the dumpster, and all of the bugs that will fly into your room, you want to keep the door closed. On a positive note, The staff is really nice there. Their TV selections are good and inclusive. The non-smoking rooms inside are much nicer, but they have rodents, too. You've been warned.

This quality inn had everything I needed. A comfortable bed, quiet during the night and early morning, hot shower with the right shower pressure, clean and neat even at the entrance door. The staff was respectful and pleasant. Very smiley and ready to take care of their guest.

*** !!!MUST READ!!!***I am writing this review today, January 3, 2023, for my current stay (December 31, 2022 - January 4, 2023.) The front desk clerk is PHENOMENAL! My stay was unique in nature and the front desk clerk truly exceeded the bar from the moment I entered the hotel; prior to check-in. The hotel is clean and comfortable in nature and the breakfast was beyond satisfying given the fact it's still COVID-19. The housekeeper(s) are exceptionally kind, professional and accommodating (stopping their work to assist me, one housekeeper was even singing (quietly and respectfully: If that doesn't prove they love and are grateful for their jobs, I don't know what else can!) I have over 25+ years of customer satisfaction experience (including, but not limited to and within the hospitality industry.) Finally, I found an establishment that cares for their guests like I do and have through out my career. The Quality Inn at 8828 Washington Blvd, Jessup, MD 20794, raises the bar above most within the hospitality industry. It's my prayer and wish that the Franchise/Corporate will see and read my review. It's unfortunate, that the negative reviews even exist. I, personally, requested the information required to post my review - which I don't do often. The clerk didn't force me, let alone even ask for me to do a review. Most are quick to post negativity. While most are slow and yet forgetful to post positivity.Quality Inn (Jessup), I thank you from the top, middle and bottom of my heart for: treating me respectfully, handling me gently and with care. ALL of you, went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and safe.If that's not enough, the front desk clerk remembered my birthday (January 1st: New Year's Day!!!) I was in need of assistance and before I stated my request, the gentleman at the front desk greeted me with a warm and genuine smile and said, "Happy Birthday!" Then proceeded to wish me a Happy New Year as well! When I gracefully made my exit (back to my room,) I was in tears! FINALLY, TEARS OF JOY! They are sincere, genuine, authentic and organic! In closing, it is my prayer and petition that the staff keeps up their "high tier and level" of customer satisfaction. Also, the powers that be (the owner/GM/Executive management), I hope that you see, read, and digest this review. See...case in point; ironically, as timing would have it, while I am currently outside drafting this review, one of the housekeepers arrived (7:00a.m., EST) to start her shift and low and behold, she recognized me and greeted me with the warmest smile, hello and wished me a great morning and day! The hotels I am accustomed to staying at: The Ritz Carlton, The Four Seasons and The "W,"...etcetera... You all know the level of service (we should receive at these so-called "high end/luxury" hotels) where you are treated "less than, rude, harshly, unprofessional AND like you are just a number!" For the most part, the bells and whistles (perks) that high end hotels offer-rarely do they uphold their end of the bargain (all they care about is receiving the over priced payment!) They can NOT hold a candle stick nor measure up to Jessup, Maryland's Quality Inn's (8828 Washington Blvd.) High level of service! You all deserve 10 STARS (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)Again, thank you all! It is an honor and a privilege to take this moment to express my gratitude, which is well deserved for this AMAZING review and so many more!Sincerely, authentically and genuinely!CHRISTinaA truly satisfied, content and grateful guest!

Positives: Bed was comfortable and we slept well. We’re happy that there was a microwave and a fridge in the room. Nice and big TV. Bath towels were comfortable and clean. Room was pretty looking. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Friendly and kind staff.Negatives: Mom always says if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all!??

Ok, so this area of town is littered with discount hotel properties. I should have known better but I needed a place to crash one night Ina road trip. Unfortunately I booked from the road and didn’t elect the refundable rate or I would have moved on down the road. The place has the vibe of a homeless shelter. They are renovating according to the paper signs taped up in places.I will give them credit- the bathroom and room were extremely clean, it’s just the bones of this building are as old as dinosaurs. There are a few “features” that make me laugh. A motion sensor in the bathroom that turns off the lights while you are in the shower and a desk area without a single outlet.I haven’t made it to breakfast yet. All the remodeling materials are piled up in that area. Maybe I’ll go to MacDonald’s.

My father, my mother, and I stayed at this hotel for one night, from Saturday, December 4, 2021 to Sunday, December 5, 2021. We stayed in a non-smoking room with 2 double beds on the third floor, Room 306. The beds were comfortable. The toilet, the sink, and the shower worked well. The mini refrigerator in the room was not working at all. There was no cold air in the mini refrigerator. It looked like the room was not properly maintained, in terms of, the carpet and the wallpaper. There was no breakfast given because of the pandemic. There was no elevator.

Not a great hotel to stay at but i guess you get what you pay for as the rates were fair.At check in, i inquired about the gym because the website mentioned it, the receptionist advised the gym was downstairs. I headed to the “gym” which included 1 pair of 40lb dumbbells, 1 pair of 50lbs and 1 single 10lb dumbbell, a treadmill, a bike and one other cardio equipment, i forgot but MAYBE an elliptical. I thought to myself “this sucks but I’ll make it work”Next - there was no water!! There was an unattached water cooler. I asked about a vending machine, staff advised the beverage vending machine did not work but told me where the snack machine was. Guess what? That one didn’t work either !Finally - the website mentioned hot breakfast. Breakfast time rolled around and i go downstairs for breakfast.. no hot breakfast so i inquired and the receptionist gave me a brown paper bag filled with a bran muffin, nature valley oat bar, a small cheese danish and a FROZEN Jimmy Dean sausage, egg & cheese microwaveable sandwich- still no beverage. The experience was comical at this point. I’m only giving this place 2 stars and not the bare minimum because the room was clean, the channel selections on the tv were descent and they had ample parking for me to park my truck.

The room was OK, needed better cleaning in bathrooms. I was told on Saturday night that breakfast was a grab and go due to their remodeling. In the morning I was told by a different person that there was NO breakfast...very disappointing since the website said free breakfast.
