My experience at Andrews JB Commissary over all is pretty good. I like the facility carried more than other stores. The service from the staff associates is fair. The con of this store is the produce section that are not fresh no matter when I visited.

Stop keeping expired food on the shelves! Also don’t get the Ruben sandwich from the deli, unless you want a day on the toilet!

Must be very careful here. Many vegetables are straight up rotten! Many products expired or very very close. Many larger items are priced higher than if you buy the smaller package. Will not go back. Been shopping there for 30+ yrs. No more

Bagger threatened me. I didn’t know they only work for tips and didn’t have cash on me and she literally threatened me.

I have never experienced such disrespect from a commissary employee in my life.. My husband has done 20 plus years of service. Retired WO3. I’ve been a customer of the commissary since 2000. The commissary clerk by the name of Emma, Asian lady tried to accuse me twice of not scanning my items. Which was clearly scanned. Which, she can clearly see on her screen, that the items was scanned. Instead she tried to create a scene. I had to defend myself, in her accusations by telling her to go check her screen. I don’t need to steal a bag of apples, or toilet paper from the commissary. I’ve been a government employee for the last 20 years. I would not risk my security clearance, or freedom, for a bag of apples, and toilet paper. Not because you see someone that is dark skinned in sweats means that they are stealing. Shame on you Emma.

I've always had a good experience at this commissary. The prices are the BEST in town. I go out of my way to do my grocery shopping here! The service has always been nice and it's pretty large

Not too bad. Fresh produce is hit or miss on quality. Sometimes it's great, others its a pass. Also need to check expiration dates on items, particularly dairy and meat. Had more than a few times we would get something for a meal and only discover it's expired while putting stuff away. Staff are usually good save for an individual or two, we just avoid their lanes. Rude customers is the biggest sticking point for us. Weekends are the worst as people seem to find it necessary to clog up the aisles while they visit with their friends.

Very large grocery store, it would help but they had a mat of all the aisles with the produce list on a map so you don't have to walk all of them on the store to find what you're looking for believe you me is there you just have to look for it. Great prices safe and secure.

This commissary is a joke. The employees are rude, the baggers are comically slow, and the produce is either non existent or in various stages of rotting. Prices are never consistent and not any cheaper than regular grocery stores. The prices that are listed are different than what ring up at the register, so take a picture of the price in the aisle to dispute it at the checkout. The prices are also turned off at 8:00pm so you’re basically shopping mystery style. I hate it here.

Why do they seldom update their price tags? You always pay more than expected. Horrible!
