The people are great, the system they work under is terrible, and that is me being nice. Even with the newly required sign-up for even the most minor service, the wait times are extremely long.

When requesting a refill and entering my birthdate information the system indicated there was no record of me.After forty five years in the Airforce and Civil Service in the Information Technology career field and software development this has to be the worse application deployment I have seen. It appears quality control and system testing is non-existent and beta testing is taking place on the live system. The Contracting Officer Technical Representative for this software development effort should be more engaged to avoid acceptance of a flawed product.

I've always had a good experience at this commissary. The prices are the BEST in town. I go out of my way to do my grocery shopping here! The service has always been nice and it's pretty large

After waiting in line for over an hour, I was told that my records and prescriptions are not available in the new genesis system. Recent changes from the previous system to now genesis deleted all my record and prescriptions from the system. My records did not populate to the new system. The customer service representatives were clueless on how to resolve the issue. BX refill pharmacy customer representatives asked me to go to the life time pharmacy but they don't have no idea where the office is. Their common responses, "we are sorry, but we only disperse prescriptions. We are not able to assist you with your problem. Just go back to your doctor and have your doctor send new prescriptions."Went to the main pharmacy for assistance. The representative was so professional and informed me that my name needs to be added to the new system. She directed me to go to the records management office (very professional as well) who in turn entered my name and credentials back into the new system. I still ended up having my civilian doctor electronically sent new prescriptions.

Called because it took 6 hrs to fill my prescription,waited over an hr to speak to someone then the girl tells me I should’ve filed the prescription under acute if I wanted it ready today. When i asked what that meant she told me to hang on and put me on hold and then told me to call ft belvoir and hung up. The worst customer service i have ever experienced and I worked in retail for years. This is not how you treat people. My child is sick and now I have to take her to the ER because you can’t fulfill her prescription. I still don’t even know how to file under acute care

The lines and customer service is horrendous, no regards for people condition. I have never seen anything like this, what a slap in the face for those that have served our country. This is ridiculous and need to be fired ASSP.

Needs better hours! It’s a shame that civilian spouses and/or veterans are limited to such inflexible hours of operation. Given that this is not the main pharmacy, I would expect that the hours would extend pass 5pm Monday-Friday and if not to at least offer the possibility of weekend hours given the fact that not everyone lives and/or works on base.

I went to the pharmacy to receive my medication after I activated it. Andrew's Pharmacy replied they don't see it in their system. I had to call my provider to confirm and Walter Reed Pharmacy for assistance and they said it is in the system. How is this Better Access to Care if I cannot get my medication at this location? Will fill out a JOES survey for this poor customer service.

On Tuesday May 10th 2021 I turned in a script for medication I use daily knowing it was too soon to pick up the script. So I left the script with the tech was told by the tech that I could pick up on the 17th of May. The 17th comes, I go to pick up the filled script then I was told they don't have it in stock. How is this possible... you've had a week to make sure the order is ready? Btw I am leaving the country on the 18th of May and will not return for two weeks. The incompetence of the pharmacy at Andrew's Pharmacy is staggering. So take my advice just go to Fort Belvoir to resolve any medication issues you may be faced with. At Fort Belvoir there's a tech named DIAMOND was a true gem and was super helpful. Problem solved...got meds and headed to SOUTH America.

Love shopping here. One of the better commissary in the MDV area considering the size. Friendly staff especially in the meat department. So helpful to tell me when certain meat I was looking for maybe delivered. So I got my Oxtails for new year's. Delicious.

It should not be hard to call and ask for pharmacy hours. This phone system sucks.
