I believe this is where my art collecting life began. From the moment I stepped into Adah Rose Gallery many years ago, I was instantly mesmerized. The space is loaded with everything from the whimsical, minimal, sublime, sculpture, 3D, pencil, watercolor, acrylic, collage, and everything in between. I find most of the prices reasonable for the stunning works of fine art. Adah Rose is a gem and incredibly helpful and enthusiastic about the artists she represents. She is also sincere and down to earth which is a special combination to find at a fine art gallery. If you are just beginning your art collection or are a serious collector there is something here for everyone. You will not be disappointed.

This is not only one of the must see places whenever you're in Kensington, but through the hard work and persistence of it owner, this gallery has become one of the key art spaces of the Greater Washington area region! The gallery showcases mid career and emerging artists, and every single one of them is a brilliant find for both beginning and established art collectors. This is also one of the few area galleries with a national footprint, as Adah Rose routinely participates in national art fairs, most notably in fairs in Miami during December's Art Basel week - the crown jewel of Art shows/fairs on the planet. The gallery is welcoming to young and beginning collectors, and thus I highly recommend it if you're interested in original and intelligent art from nearly every artworld niche and approach! Without a doubt one of the vital components of the tapestry that makes an art scene! My highest possible recommendation!

Adah Rose has a small but nice collection of contemporary pieces. She has a very warm and welcoming personality and is happy to show you and talk about the collection even if you are not looking to buy. We ended up walking out with two pieces. We'll be back the next time we're looking to add a piece to our collection.

Adah Rose Gallery is a fantastic art space in the center of downtown Kensington. The gallery has a wide variety of contemporary art of local DC artists. The quality is fantastic and the artists are all innovative and expressive. The gallery also features chic and fun openings with live music- definitely events that you want to attend. Kensington is a charming town and Adah Rose Gallery is a wonderful addition to the community.

I wandered into this new gallery in an alley off of Howard Ave. in historic Kensington and found an interesting show of two artists' works--one beautifully printed scenes of Venice and the other more abstract paintings. Both artists were accomplished and affordable. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable about the featured artists and showed me works by other artists whose art will be shown in future monthly shows, including photography, works on paper, and small sculptures. There was no pressure to buy, but prices are reasonable. A great find for anyone interested in well priced art by local and national artists, both rising and well known.

For me , it was love at first sight with this gorgeous little gallery nestled in the heart of Kensington's charming Antique Row. It is small, intimate and inviting, and holds a deceptively large amount of wonderful art by some amazing local and non local artists. Adah Rose is warm and welcoming and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about art. She told me all about the current exhibit, (which is beautiful), happily answered my many questions, and showed me other gorgeous work she has tucked away in portfolios. The gallery features an eclectic variety of art and styles, including all kinds of work on paper, pinhole photography, wood and metal sculpture and more...This lovely gallery is well worth a visit!
