I went to this place to get an alignment. A guy came up to me so rude asking me for a mask. What??????? who the heck is requiring mask at this point nobody. learn how to be professional with your business and be polite when you approach your customers that’s how you get pay ………no customers no pay . You better learn that. I would never recommend this place to nobody……Service: General repairs & maintenance

Overall, the service here is very good and it was one of the few places that I felt I could really trust. I am sad to say that trust was shaken by my last encounter with them. I took my car in for an oil change and was surprised when I saw on the bill that I was not only charged $50 for the oil (more than $10 per quart) but an additional $20 for an engine oil additive. I asked what that was and was told it was a product from BG lubricants that they routinely add to all oil changes. I asked why and was given a ridiculous story that motor oils are no good for engines any longer. That they are only formulated for maximal MPG and that they are bad for engine durability. This is, of course, complete nonsense. The best synthetic motor oils are endorsed by manufacturers and many of them cost less than $10 a quart. That ridiculous oil additive is probably at least as likely to damage the engine as save it. But the profit margin is probably more than 300%. Sadly, Carlos Auto Repair seems to be edging into the gouging the customer business model. I will probably keep going there, but will have to quiz them very carefully about exactly what they are going to do and every charge before I agree to any service. I didn't use to have to do that, but now I guess I do.

Carlos’s is a fantastic shop. They are honest and thorough. I had an issue with the steering wheel and they found the problem and then researched that Hyundai had a recall on the part. Bill wrote up a diagnostic report to give to Hyundai to ensure that it was covered!! Love it here.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

Stopped by as a possible new first time customer inquiring about a replacement engine for my truck. Two mechanics couldn’t find the owner. Not a big deal it was lunchtime but later when I called and told Bill I stopped by and he wasn’t available it seemed to start things off wrong. As if he was questioning if I really did stop by, even asking, today, what time. I informed him when.Anyway, long story short by the end of the conversation after trying to ask multiple questions at probably a hectic pace, which further upset Bill thus chastising me for not letting him talk.??I’m cool with everything that happened I just won’t give business to someone who doesn’t have patience with their clients who know little about their trade. Hence the reason for seeking professional help.I’m a contractor and I’ve never treated a potential client with the sarcastic and belittling behavior that Bill treated me with.I’m very happy he showed his true colors before I had work done. Who knows maybe it was just bad communication on my part, but in my business you cut potential clients a lot of slack.I’m sure a competitor will be glad to do the work.

I was referred to them by Trick Trucks when my Jeep was damaged from an Allstate insured gentleman. They repairs close to 10k worth of various repairs. The team at Carlos's fought for me the entire way, submitting only the repairs that came from the collision. They communicated with me the entire time and the results were fantastic. It felt better than it did before the collision. I had one small starting issue after I picked it up (not related to their work) and they evaluated it and gave me an honest and fast response. They could of said it was a much more expensive issue and I wouldn't of know. I will be using them from now on for both of our vehicles. Nice work Bill and team.

Run by the second generation this longtime Kensington business employs seasoned professional mechanics who know how to do the job right. Any misunderstandings have been quickly resolved. Got a flat tire (drove over a small tool that stabbed a tire) driving right near them. They helped us get the van to their shop and fixed within 2 hours while we waited.
