I have been disappointed with my experience at Storage Plus due to their frequent price increases. Initially, they offer lower rates to attract customers, but shortly after signing up, I found my monthly fees rising unexpectedly. This feels unfair and frustrating, as it seems like a bait-and-switch tactic. I believe pricing should be more transparent and consistent. Overall, I cannot recommend Self Storage Plus based on my experience.

I am not sure why rent was increased just 3 months in. They person who referred me here rented for a long while and didn't get a rent increase. Why the sudden increase in rent?

I have kept my unit for two years now and while trying to make a payment i noticed they added in a convenience fee if you are pre-paying for your unit. No Notice, No email just more little fees. It's
Almost like punishing your for making a payment. This is actually crazy and they are rude when you call them and feign ignorance.
I would be ending my business with this people here. Other Storage companies are competitive and want your business.

We've used Nicholson Self Storage Plus for over a year now, and our experience has been fantastic. We're out of state, and one of the top compliments we have is the communication from the staff. They're always super responsive, friendly, and willing to help in any way they can. So very appreciated when you're 5000 miles away! Financially speaking, the unit has been a very good value. Prices have gone up (as with everything) but not inordinately so. Once the unit was cleaned out and move-out was ready, checking out was a breeze. Never had any security issues at all, the facility is secure.
Highly recommend Nicholson SSP! We'll definitely use them in the future should we need storage in Rockville!

I wanted to get a smaller unit at the Nicholson location in Rockville, MD. Staff member Yvonne was on duty by herself. There was a steady stream of people showing up. Yvonne was kind and patient with everyone. She was contentious about finding something close to where I already had a unit, so I didn't have to walk so far to relocate. Yvonne was the best customer service person I've encountered! Also, this storage facility is exceptionally clean!

Yvonne is great to work with. We already had one storage unit for a while and needed another unit temporarily while we do a house clean out. She helped to provide the best solution and we were able to get the unit right next to our current unit. The process was easy and as a long time client, I highly recommend this place. Easy access, decent prices, clean, good customer service.

This past weekend we rented a storage unit and were very glad we did it here. All within a day, we were able to reserve the unit, review and sign the agreement, and move all of our items in with clear instructions and easy access. Throughout this whole experience, Yvonne was such a pleasure to work with. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and guided us through the entire process.
