This is an excellent company and I've used them on three moves now - they are my primary moving company. Their office staff is very responsive/communicative by email and text to make the booking, and all the movers I've worked with have been professional and done a good job. They wrap furniture well and their moving blankets are in very good condition/clean and odor free. Their pricing is a very good value and they don't hide fees/bloat their moving time.

Steve and his crew deserve 5 stars in terms of their competence, efficiency, and care in handling our furniture. They did a great job. I docked a star because they came an hour late. We were repeat clients. They moved us years ago to Arlington from DC and when we moved back this year to DC we didn't consider other movers. If and when we move again we will certainly hire Suburban Solutions again. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service from first contact to move completion! Brian Fitzgerald followed through and provided info and support. The three man crew moved everything quickly and efficiently. All items were wrapped before placement in a storage unit, a large refrigerator moved involving removal of appliance and house doors, and friendly courteous service provided by all three. I can’t handle stairs well and this crew carried items between floors for me and one gentleman even got down and cleaned out bottom freezer of refrigerator that was moved as I was unable to reach it. I cannot recommend Suburban more highly! Price was reasonable and service was priceless!

I thought I reviewed this company already but it seems I didn't. Omgoodness. I recommend to everyone under the sun. They were such troopers having to move my stuff off of a deck from my old apartment (that's how we moved it in) and still somehow put everything in its place in my new home (even when I told them I knew some pieces were a pain in the butt and they could leave it and I'd deal with it later). They were absolutely incredible! Will always use

Wonderful service from first contact til move completion! Brian Fitzgerald provided info and support. Three man crew moved furniture and goods to storage unit quickly and efficiently. All furniture items were wrapped. Large refrigerator that required removal of appliance and house doors was moved and everything back in place neatly. The crew went the extra mile in every way! I highly recommend Suburban Solutions for excellent service at a reasonable price!

We hired Suburban Solutions for full-service packing and moving services and we could not be happier with our experience! From requesting a quote, to finalizing the details, to booking, to the actual packing/moving days, everything was easy and painless. Brian was extremely responsive and helpful with answering all of my questions, and he made sure that we had an A+ crew for our move.Both the packing and moving estimates ended up being very accurate (packing estimate was 3-4 hrs and it took 3 hrs, moving estimate was 4-5.25 hrs and it took 4.75 hrs), so there were no surprises at the end when it came to paying, and we felt that the prices were reasonable. The team was very efficient and friendly, and they made sure they put everything where we wanted it in the new house. Highly recommend!

I hired Suburban Solutions for my 1-bedroom apartment move and would recommend them to others. Josh and Joe were professional, friendly, and efficient. They wrapped my furniture carefully and nothing was damaged. The owner was communicative and responsive, and I think the price was very fair. I recommend them without hesitation!!

I've used Suburban Solutions twice now to move, once into a condo with easy elevator access in 2018 and once into a townhome that required lots of stairs in 2022. No matter the difficulty the movers were incredibly efficient and professional.Moving is an incredibly stressful thing and the fact that you are billed by the minute only adds to the stress. So having Suburban move so efficiently and the operation being so well organized is really a huge relief. From the quote process to final payment it is a very stress-free experience.

On short notice, I needed assistance unloading a 15ft U-Haul on a Sunday morning. I contacted Suburban Solutions and Brian promptly booked the appointment for a fair price. The process was seamless, and Brian reached out the day before to assure me that the team would be there. Brian and Steve arrived on time and quickly unloaded my truck. The move was not the easiest (an in-town apartment using an alleyway). Brian and Steve, though, were familiar with the building and completed the job in an impressive 45 minutes. I highly recommend--great communication, professional, prompt, and efficient. The best in the District!

I cannot speak to how well they are at moving things as I ultimately went with a different company to move me. But, I still wanted to leave a review as they were extremely helpful, very responsive, and quoted me a VERY fair price for the job. I contacted 9 movers and their quote was several hundred dollars less than the other quotes I received, even on the "high-end." I was impressed with their service and pricing!

AMAZING!!! From booking with Brian to moving day, the entire process was seamless and easy. Brian was super accessible to help plan out exactly what I needed ahead of time. On moving day, the team was prompt and the hustled! I think they all ran all day long moving everything's. We moved 2000sq ft house about 15 miles away and the whole thing took less than 6 hours. It was incredible - hands down the best moving company I have used in DMV.
