I walked in here at 7:50pm. I already felt bad about coming 10 mins before they closed, but I needed two salad kits for the next morning. I was gonna walk in grab them, pay, and walk out. It would have taken me 2 mins tops. First the entrance was locked so I walk towards the exit. As soon as I pass by those doors the lady sitting at the cash register screams were closed. Just the tone and nasty look on her face. I didn't even say anything back I just walked out. I get it I came the last 10 minutes but your a grocery store why are you closing 10 mins early??

I love this grocery store-- I save at least a third on my grocery bill! They are missing a few things that I still need to go to other stores for (extra creamy oat milk & wild caught shrimp). The only thing I wish was a little different was how, when you're checking out, the cash register person seems to throw the items into the cart with little discretion to what might get crushed or bruised. They usually seem too focused on how fast they can clear the belt.
Well, yesterday I had the best experience ever with Joanne! She was so careful, and thoughtful, and deliberate with my items. I was floored! I've been going to all kinds of different locations, for well over ten years, and never had such a pleasant experience checking out. She stands out above the rest!

The Aldi in La Plata is my favorite store. Parker is the best, always friendly and helpful. Great prices and shelves are always stocked.

Nice clean, big store with wide aisles and great prices.
Come with a quarter for the cart, they also charge for bags, so put some boxes in your vehicle.
Only minor thing: whatever happened to the best onion rings I have ever had? The only onion rings that actually came out crispy? I'm bummed.

I went when they opened the shelves were a bit empty maybe cause it was early in the week the one in Waldorf always seemed loaded with products but I don't like being bothered bye the homeless and trash they let hang around front so I stick to laplata

This is one of the more well stocked and organized Aldi's in the area. Rarely are there ever pallets left unattended in the isles and you can always find stock of advertised specials.
