This review is for Carol's Citchen Jams which was at the market on October 21, 2023. Let me tell you this strawberry jam is perfection, there's real strawberry bites in the jam, not too sweet of tangy. This jam is worth the price I paid. I've been searching for a good jam to have with my morning toast and brought many that only sat in my fridge (whole foods, target, trader Joe's didn't matter). Only other place I've had jam this good is Paris. I highly recommend a visit to grab a bottle of the strawberry favor, I'll be back to try other favors. Please see my photo as well.

I like the variety of vendors, lots of local farm goods and crafts. I'd give it five stars if they allowed pets

The Saturday La Plata Farmers Market is one of the best in the area! The produce is top notch and I love that a lot of the vendors are there weekly so you get to know them over time.

The vendors need your support. We are quick to click and ship, but sometimes we need to go support local Small Businesses. It will be 5 stars with your support.

I was driving to bees donuts when I went past this little sign that said farmers market and I decided to come back with babe and check it out. Before I checked it out, I wanted to see what kind of venues they had so I know some of the things that we were gonna be able to get. We didn't do a full circle so I did miss some of the body butter stuff but we ended up buying way too much stuff because we didn't know some of the vendors were going to be there. They had plenty of parking and it's free parking so that was awesome. And we just walked across the street up the hill and our first stop was a little liquor stand - twin valley distillers... They provided us with samples and talk to us through the different products. The gentleman was really friendly and we ended up buying two bottles. My favorite was a pineapple from it was absolutely delicious. They are located in Rockville so if you were in that area, I would say definitely check them out because they are friendly great service and their product is really good. We kind of did a big circle and we checked out a couple other places there was literally just so much stuff so we couldn't buy everything but we did buy these cute cake pops from cottage kitchen. The cake pops were so beautiful that it was hard not to want to buy one so we got a green and a pink one with little gold sprinkles on them. Another vendor we went to was a dog bakery : forage dog 'barkery' : the vendors were very friendly and explained the product. And they took notice of the things that we purchased... Like we purchased popcorn from another vendor, and they said you and your dog can eat popcorn together... they literally had so many different cute little treats for the pups that I was super shocked. We ended up getting woofles (doggy waffles). We got cookies from nibblers - where I had the chance to speak to a nice young man name, Lucas and his father the actual baker. The cookies were really good soft very homemade tasting maybe with some brown butter. So delicious!! Then we have the pleasure of speaking to Mary Ellen, with twist style. She specializes in jewelry. She gets the jewels and gems from the Czech Republic and she crochets each element of her jewelry together. She makes necklaces and bracelets, different lengths, and some have pendants. She has really cute little pieces and some come with a funny, cute little story. I got a very pretty jade color necklace with an acorn. She also does artwork and will be checking out her site to see all that she has to offer. Last, but not least, we went to Aggie and Joe's to get breakfast sandwiches... And they make a really good breakfast sandwich. Where are used to eating breakfast sandwiches from New York but these were great my sandwich had egg, white, turkey, bacon, avocado, and I added cheese... And babes sandwich had egg white And sausage with cheese. Overall, Id say we made out well at the Amish market. The ambience was chill... It was an all outdoor market, so weather permitting plan accordingly. Everyone was super friendly. We had a great time and We now have plenty of goodies and treats, and also some memorable jewelry. We will definitely visit again and hit up some more of the food vendors and check out some of the body butters and Wood structures. Until next time catch me on my blog at doseofdev.com !

Amazing time! I'll definitely go back soon. Everyone was so kind, I truly enjoyed the samples of wine, cakes, etc. every booth we stopped by was patient, I didn't feel rushed and allowed us to sample. The wine sample was probably my favorite . Not to mention the weather today is absolutely perfect to walk around. They have seating if you want to grab food, baked goods and just enjoy. From the strawberry jam, pound cake, bbq, I am pleased and stuffed! Thank you La Plata Farmers Market, well done!

I enjoy seeing the gentleman that sells the tropical indoor plants. His plants are beautiful. I have brought 9 plants from him since July which included a floor plant. The cost are very reasonable.
