Customer service in my experience still needs some improvement. Visited Lowe's of La Plata, MD on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 to purchase Levolor blinds. Called store around 9am to see a Lowe's employee would be available or in the store. The customer service person said someone would be there until 5pm. Arrived around 2:15pm, pushed the service button twice when I arrived, waited for about 30 minutes. Still no help arrived. One Lowe's employee in the front of the store noticed me standing around, still didn't ask if I needed assistance. Approached a Lowe's employee who was going to find someone. He said he was going to find someone. Nobody came back. Approached Lisa, very helpful, in the front of the store to ask if I could speak to a manger. Lisa didn't call the manager but asked Shirley to place a call. Disgruntled woman finally came to help. I asked how her day was going, she said, busy & said "What do you need?" She acted totally disinterested in what I needed. I explained to her the length of the blinds needed as I was purchasing 5 blinds, 4 of which were the same length. She still acted confused about my request. I told her never mind, I would be back when she was having a better day. Asked to speak to a manger. Monique, Lowe's manager, came by to see if she could help. I explained to her the issue I was having and that I called earlier that day to see if someone would be available. Stood around for about 45 minutes when I arrived, still no help. Monique, Lowe's assisted with the blinds. 1 hour later I was able to leave with what could have been resolved in 15-20 minutes. 3 guys in the next isle over were standing around talking, never asked if I needed assistance after walking by them several times. Monique mentioned she was going to speak with the lady that came to assist, but I don't think it will help. I understand we all have busy days and bad days, but don't take it out on the customer.

Understaffed and absolutely zero customer service. Waited a half an hour after asking for help with glass cutting. After 3 calls to the customer service desk, they finally tell me that nobody in the store knows how to cut glass. Thanks Lowes!

I’ve always experienced good customer service at the La Plata Lowes until today. We went to purchase several bags of sand in the Pro Services section. The bags were on a shelf too high for us to reach. After two attempts to get help to no avail, we left. Went to Ace Hardware, problem solved. In and out in less than ten minutes and they loaded it.

I just left my local Lowe’s in LaPlata and met the nicest, most helpful and most importantly, knowledgeable and professional associate named Tracy. I was there with a question about drill heads. He was up on a ladder working, yet stopped what he was doing, came down and assisted. He made sure the drill bit was the exact size needed. I would highly recommend to anyone, if you’re shopping in LaPlats’s Lowe’s and have any questions with drills, ask for Tracy! He’s definitely the man!

Visited the store on 1/28/24. A white lady and her daughter brought in their dog, and the dog immediately crapped on the floor. Instead of her picking up after her dog, she made a fort around it, with boxes, and left it there. I informed an employee and he asked, "she just put down the boxes like that?" Until Lowe's eliminates their pet policy, I won't be returning. Animals do NOT need to be allowed in stores for this very reason. Disgusting

Terrible...actually worse than terrible.I have spent several thousand dollars here over the last 6 years (between lawn tractors, building supplies, tools, seasonal decorations...and other household items because I just didn't have another local choice). Between the (lack of) customer service, lack of "give a $hit" of their staff, inventory control, and quality of the items sold, La Plata's Lowe's has left me searching for a replacement supplier. The best thing that could happen for La Plata is for a Home Depot to move in and give them some competition and a reason to improve.

Just wanted to thank La Plata location employees Turk, and Dennis for assisting me today. It was an eventful morning trying to complete my HVAC purchase. They listened and helped me with my dilemma and didn't just shuffle me to someone else. I really appreciate it!!

Had a wonderful shopping experience at Lowe's in La Plata MD. Not only did one employee ask me if they could help me find something, 3 different employees did! And then 2 of the 3 actually went to the aisle where items were located to ensure I found what I needed. Great job Lowe's in La Plata with providing outstanding customer support!!

I will never buy from lowes again.I bought siding from them and I don't have a receipt homedepo will give you store credit no questions. Lowes told me no matter what they don't do store credit any more. The siding is in perfect condition no damage. I bought to much and need to return the extra my customer paid cash so that is how I paid. I'm fine with store credit because I'll spendnd the money their anyway but not after this. I already contacted your 1800 number and they didn't help eathier they said try a different store that's it I tried 4 different stores none will do it

The associates were cordial helpful. The on floor associates were very helpful. Pointed me to the item I had for return and replacement Craftsman tools made by Sears. Still have the lifetime replacement on them. No hassle, smooth replacement at the customer service counter.
