My glasses were initially quoted at over $800 with insurance and mysteriously decreased to just above $400 after I gasped. They were progressive glasses. Reading and the computer improved but distance was blurry. I told the doctor this. I also told her that vehicle lights were blurred and that I could see better in my old glasses. She wanted to give me a referral to have my "floating cataracts" checked. I had both pair of glasses on me and had taken the time over a three week period to test multitudes of objects with both sets. I continuously saw more clear with my old glasses. The doctor told me she wouldn't spend another half hour with me after I pleaded with her and asked her to check the prescription in my my old pair. I was thinking perhaps that was recorded incorrectly. She wouldn't do that and dismissed me when I said I would have to return them if she wouldn't correct them. She walked me up front and mumbled under her breath to a technician. I asked what she mumbled under her breath and she didn't answer me. The technician asked me what we were doing and I said returning the glasses. I was dismissed because the doctor didn't want to admit my prescription was incorrect. I will check with my insurance company to make sure they were refunded so I can go elsewhere. I won't go back. The reason I gave two stars instead of zero is because the staff was polite. Nothing spectacular but polite.

The technicians were very attentive and patient working with my son. The optometrist explained everything in a manner even my 11-year old understood what she was saying. The woman fitting my son with his glasses was outstanding. She took what my son picked out and recommended another pair that he liked much better.

Just had the worst experience ever and worst customer/patient service while checking out! The check out lady Laura (it’s her name if I’m not wrong) was awful with me and my dad. Our appt was at 5pm so we were the last customers. She seemed frustrated and not wanting to be there. She was not helpful at all and we were not able to get glasses for my dad since she had a bad attitude and didn’t provide us with enough information regarding his insurance benefits. She kept saying and repeating herself “I don’t know, I don’t know what to tell you, I don’t have all the information” We are Hispanic and my dad has 2 last names so she kept complaining how she is not used to people having 2 last names. When I said you know what, just give me the prescription and we’ll go somewhere else and figure it out, she said: “that’s a good idea” she printed it out and gave it to us. Before leaving I told her I hope you have a better day tomorrow to what she had the audacity to reply “tomorrow is Sunday and I don’t work tomorrow” Just WOW! This is not how people should be treated. We pay for an insurance, we pay for extra services or materials if needed and getting this treatment is not fair at all. I hope management can do something about it so other customers don’t have the same experience we had. I do want to point out that the ophthalmologist tech (Makayla) was beyond amazing, professional and friendly

I came in for my contact lense fitting on 11/04/2023. First, I want to say the Tech who saw me first and helped me with my exams int the beginning, she was wonderful. Her customer friendliness was great! Doctors were great. I was instructed by the doctor as being a first time contact purchaser, that i would get a fitting, lenses to try out for a week and see how they feel. The tech told me they dont always carry lenses, AFTER i got my exam, which is fine. Once i got to the lady who checked me out, she immediately went to charge me for my contacts that I HAD NOT been fitted for. Nor given ANY instructions on how to use contacts and was not mentioned anything about free trials. What if i had paid for these contacts, and i was stuck with some that didnt even fit right???? After finally placing my order for free trials (she said they didn't have my prescription on hand) i left very annoyed. not to mention i was seen almost 30 minutes after my appointment.Yesterday, 11/13/2023. I went to pick up my lenses and i was greeted by an older lady, as i walked in i said "Hi, i'm here to pick up.." but choked a little and didn't get to finish my sentence and the receptionist responded with attitude "pick up what?!" I said what i was coming in for, she went to look for my order and again, i was not given any instructions on what to do or what not to do, as i am a first timer with contacts. I wasn't told if my contacts were daily or weekly. I had to do my own research. I had came to this facility before and had never been received with such a lack of customer friendliness. I know it won't affect your business, but i will not be coming back here.

Made appointment had no less than 3 text to confirm,had at least 4 email confirmationsRecieved voicemail to call and confirm was then informed it would be a virtual visit and have to have test not covered by ins for $44Going elsewhere

Friendly staff… BUT…Low review is for the sample glasses not being sanitized prior to being returned to the display cases. WHAT! The rep said just put them back when I told my husband to set them aside because they would need to clean them. Thankfully, my optometrist’s office won’t allow sample frames to be replaced before proper sanitation.Gross! Of course we found out AFTER the sample frames had already been on my husband’s face.Fast service. Inconsistent prescriptions. Low basic style frames. Friendly staff. Pleasant waiting area. It’s open on a Saturday so they got an extra point for that.

Not impressed. I went here to try a new eye DR. My contact lens prescription was incorrect even after I repeatedly reminded the doctor what I needed. I also asked for monthly and daily contacts but only got one RX not two. I feel like they don't listen to the patient or check their work. I will not be returning.

Experience was great. Staff welcomed me immediately and were all friendly & understanding that I had my small kids with me. Staff gave my kids stickers as well! The doctor, Dr. Shuayb Akhtar I believe, was very professional and fast. I enjoyed seeing the photos of the back of my eye too! Nancy helped me shop for glasses and went over all the charges with me. She was also very friendly and patient. While the prices may be a bit more expensive than I was expecting, I had a great experience and that cannot be undervalued, especially when you're on a time crunch with 2 hungry kids!

I went to this place for the first time with my parents and I had such a lovely experience. The staff was amazing from the moment I walked in, including Lisa the manager. But my longest experience was with the Dr Akhtar, who was so intelligent and efficient with his exams. He had excellent bed side manner and took his time to explain everything well. This is going to be my optometrist for the future for sure now.

I normally don't post reviews if I can't say anything good. However, in this case, it's necessary. I was as excited as I normally am when it was time for my yearly visit here. I have been coming to this location for the past several years and have always had great experiences. However, during this visit when I arrived I was escorted to the examination room by someone I did not recognize. I assumed it was an assistant. But it turned out to be the actual doctor. He told me his name but he didn't say he was the doctor and proceeded with my examination. After a couple of minutes, I asked him who he was and he stated he told me he was the doctor. The whole exam was very uncomfortable. I tried to make small talk but he was all about the business, which I respect. However, there is no excuse for being borderline rude. He even interrupted me at one point and said let me finish the exam and then I'll answer any questions. That shut me up quickly. A letter informing of a new doctor taking over the practice would have been nice. The person who assisted me with my financials, Nancy, on the other hand, was wonderful. She made me feel comfortable and showed high regard for good customer service. The day I went back for my lenses, however, the person who gave me my lenses was also lacking in kindness. If you don’t mind these few things, this place is just ok. Just don’t have great expectations of friendliness. Needless to say, I'll be looking for another eye doctor.

I highly recommend this AMAZING MYEYEDR! Easy to make an appointment with the incredible Dalphine, very impressive and knowledgeable Doctor and the very professional, kind, helpful and sweet Nancy. Nancy listened to what I wanted and mostimportant what i needed! I absolutely love my new glasses that were reasonably priced and I have already received several compliments on them. So make an appointment, say hi to Dalphine and request Nancy to help you select your new glasses!

My appointment at myeyedr. was great! I was seen and on time by my optometrist who went over all the details of my exam. When picking out frames and choosing the options for my lenses Nancy went about and beyond to ensure my coverages were in line with the totals of my purchase. Nancy noticed that I was be charged incorrectly for the photochromic option on my lenses. Nancy verified my insurance coverage was correct and notified management of the discrepancy. A phone call later with other verifications and the actual insurance copay amount was adjusted. Nancy ensured everything was correct and in the end 100% customer satisfaction was delivered and received. Thank you again Nancy for your patience and attention to detail. I’m one satisfied customer!
