Laplata pharmacy hands down are friendly and professional. Always kind and accommodating. Very refreshing compared to other pharmacy locations.. Kudos O. Toulson

Cashier was a bit rude . She fussed at me by saying that there were other customers behind me. As if I’m the rude one. I was not moving slow, all of my things could not fit on the small counter at one time. There was a delay with the cash register processing my purchase- that’s who she should have fussed with.

Front cashier was rude. Over charged me for something. I went back explained the situation he would not let me speak insisted that I was wrong or I got my item in the wrong spot ….i went back to check before even approaching him about it because I wanted to make sure I wasn’t at fault first. Then when he returned it, the money I got back was for the clearance price that he told me it wasn’t on sale for. So instead of going to check he snatch the item out of my mother’s hands and insisted it wasn’t on sale and that I got it from the wrong spot. When I called up there to explain to somebody in charge what had happened they didn’t seem to care. Your customer service needs a lot of work. very unprofessional.

I had one of the best customer service experiences at the LaPlata Walgreens. The two staff members working were J-Tura and Joy. I watched their interactions with customers before me and it was such a breath of fresh air seeing the level of kindness, customer service, and respect. They spoke to every customer as if they knew them personally. They helped me solve a problem going way above and beyond. I was so grateful for the experience and so happy to see the level of care and work ethics that so often we do not see. In a world full of so much negativity, blame, bad reviews, hostility, and entitlement this was such a eye opening experience I had full of positivity, care for others, how can I help attitudes, and good review! Thank you both for just being good people and caring! I truly hope Walgreens as a company recognizes the great staff they have with you two!

I go to this Walgreens all the time, especially since the CVS next door is always absurdly busy. While the store is clearly chronically understaffed the staff is nice. The pharmacy part of the store is generally pretty quick and the staff there are also helpful/nice. I personally don't understand the low reviews, I assume it's because of the short-staff problems. While no store is perfect I have had way more good experiences here than bad ones. If you are bothered by waiting a little bit to checkout due to there only being one cashier then don't go. If that isn't going to bother you then I highly recommend going and avoiding the CVS.

I live in Waldorf but will travel a few minutes more to visit the Walgreens in LaPlata. The staff is so much more helpful whenever I visit this location.

I am very shocked by the customer service I received in this location. The pharmacy tech, name of Joy, was so rude to myself and my husband. She threw the medication for my husband on the counter and said she was "not filling a damn thing" then walked off. She proceeded to yell at me upon my entering the store and was even screaming at me in front of customers. The whole experience has me shaken. I'm afraid to have my medicines filled there going forward as I am afraid Joy may alter my scripts on purpose and cause harm to my family. She was very aggressive, abrasive and completely unprofessional. She sounded and acted like she had no home training or Customer service training. She was in complete opposition to what Walgreens stands for and I am appalled that someone like her works in that facility. Needless to say, I've reported the incident to corporate and am trying to contact the store manager so that this problem doesn't arise again.

We were visiting from out of town and I dropped my wallet in their store. The workers and manager went above and beyond to find me and were able to find my phone number to notify me that they had my wallet. They saved me so much stress as we are flying out in a couple days and I would not have had my ID. Thank you for your kindness, honesty, and diligence.

Worst customer service ever! I am not sure the people have forgotten how to communicate or if the people just need to find a new profession? I called at 11:00am to have a prescription transferred to their store. I gave them all my information then deciding to wait until 3:00pm to call to check on it. Thinking that this would be ample time to allow them to get it along with all their other job duties, including their 30 min lunch break. When I called they hung up on me. I called back and I said, hello then my name and they put me on hold without saying a word. Then hung up AGAIN. I called a third time and was put on hold for 30 minutes. Once they answered they said that they just received it and it will take about another 3 hours to fill it.

I have had numerous bad experiences with Walgreens. From convincing them to give me a COVID booster, to missing prescriptions, to long waits, to most recently being on hold for right now 30 minutes trying to refill a prescription. Someone has picked up the phone numerous times as if to answer, to be on hold again. I have no idea what to do.

Service is horrible. It’s to the point I prefer to get my prescriptions delivered. They move so slow in the pharmacy as if they are not providing service to those who are sick.
