This store has progressively gone downhill for years. Lackluster management and young employees who would much rather be on their phones then take the effort to do their job and assist customers. Over 3/4 of the cash registers are not even open at busy times. The biggest mistake that store made was bringing in self-checkout registers. Let's not forget about all the merchandise they have under lock and key like socks and underwear, shaving cream and essentials. Good luck waiting for somebody to open up those cases. They need to revert back to having a front-end manager oversee the registers and call for help as needed like they used to.

I come from Suitland, Md to shop here at this Walmart in LaPlata, MD. This store is well worth the ride! I can always find what I need/want and the prices are affordable. The associates are polite and offer their help without you having to look for them. The store is overall the best Walmart I been in yet.

I came to this Walmart store with a written receipt to return two (2) small items, and the CUSTOMER SERVICE counter member who helped me was very rude. Her name tag was reverse so that you could know who she was. She refused to give me her name or cash for a DEBIT PURCHASE. I asked her to give me the cash of $15.95, but she REFUSED and said it was now Walmart Policy. I said, "Why did the store in Prince Frederick give me back CASH recently?" She responded that it's a new policy. The manager on Duty said her name was "Star." Go figure this was complete news to me. I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE CORP. OFFICE SOON!!! What a shame!!

Always love shopping at Walmart everything I usually need is here with great options. I just HATE using the pickup. Although it can be super convenient it NEVER is. They always say they are out of stock of items but when you go inside to double check they are stocked with more than enough, this happened to me several times. The wait is ALWAYS long so be prepared to wait for pickup 30 minutes or longer even when not busy. When you call to complain about the pickup service the managers are even worse, as if I haven't waited 45 minutes then actually see the pickup crew outside goofin off. Smh love walmart but HATE the pickup from this laplata location

I used the "pick-up". It was easy to use. But it took 40 min for someone to bring my stuff to my car. Two items were wrong. I ordered fabric softener; evidently they didn't have it, so they were going to deliver it. Then it would cost me $6.99 + $3.79. Over $10 for the $3.79 item! Plus I didn't get my receipt.

Called the Pharmacy on 7/22 to check the availability of a prescription. The Pharm Tech Nadaja (name may be spelled wrong) was truly helpful, knowledgeable, and all around delightful to talk to. She had no problem checking everything I inquired about and went above and beyond to solve my issues. She gets 10 stars in my book!!??????????
