These Dollar general stores are some of the most well stocked, discount grocery stores i've seen. The variety of product is expansive and challenges my chain store supermarket at home. Read a review about slow checkout and after several visits the human checkout is always quick, friendly and warm. The only thing it lacks is smaller individual milks which if you have a cream craving can easily sate with their small ice creams.

Bring back the self-checkout. Every visit takes 20 minutes now. Faster to go to Wal-Mart, which is totally backwards. DG is supposed to be quick and easy, and it is now neither.
