“Jason and Chloe were nice hosts. The room was plenty large, clean and comfortable. We stayed in the Frost room which had a private balcony. Jason runs shuttle services for the bike trail (GAP and C&O Tow Path), which we were grateful for not having to bike round trip. There was also a locked shed to keep our bikes in out of the weather . Only one negative, I didn't realize breakfast would be vegan and would have liked to have known up front as I'm not a fan of meat substitutes. Yogurt parfait was delicious.
Noteworthy details: Very convenient for the bike trails. Easy walk to "downtown" Frostburg.”
“We stayed in The Monk Room. The place is beautiful. We didn’t mind but if you can’t walk up three flights of stairs you may want to stay on the lower level. I would definitely recommend this place.”

“This historic hotel is definitely worth a visit, especially if you're coming off the great Allegheny passage trail. You can wind down and dine, grab some beverages or go to the brewery nearby, then relax in your room and an excellent coffee bar in the lobby in the morning. Highly recommendWalkability: Frostburg has a nice downtown main Street with many restaurants and breweries and of course the old hotel”
“Can’t beat the price, and the man who checked us in was very nice. The doors lock with a normal key, and there was no deadbolt or chain lock on the door, which was a bit unsettling. That said, we didn’t feel unsafe in the location.”

“Clean, let us check in early. Great free continental breakfast. The trail is right behind the suites so if you're doing the Gap or C&O Canal your right there. Nice cleaning station for your bike too.”

“The owner was so nice. My husband and I originally booked a single bed room but we were not pleased that we had no table in our room. Which we realized he was unaware of. We thought the room had no hot water but you just have to let it run for 8 to 10 minutes. A visiting friend went to the office with me and asked for a bigger room. She wanted us to have something nicer for our 39th weddings anniversary. Said they didn't have any singles left but had a double bed room for only $10 more. The room he gave us was very nice and clean. We definitely would recommend this place. We come to MD a few times a year. We will be staying at Clarysville Motrl again. Also, the landscaping was very nice in front of the motel.Rooms: The room we stayed in was very nice and clean. The only things we would add is something to hang clothes on and they need to put a note over the hot water spigot to leave it running for 8-10 minutes.”

“What a pleasant surprise! We attend a nearby yearly festival and stayed here for the first time, but it won’t be our last! Craig was a sweetheart at checkin and even upgraded our room for us when he had realized I had booked the wrong room. The suite was perfect with the additional desk space where my husband was able to work for a bit. Both the room and bathroom were spotless!
All the staff and guests we interacted with were kind and respectful. The most noise we heard was a few heavy footsteps, our white noise drowned out the rest.
We were stunned by breakfast! Eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy.. yes please! I was expecting nothing more than a few bread options. Food wise the only downfall is that they don’t have working vending machines. They want you to go to Love’s next door.
Thanks for a great stay and we’ll see you next year!”
“Rooms were really clean. Comfortable beds and working AC . Rooms have a refrigerator and a microwave for if you wanted to bring your own food in.
Rooms: I would advise asking for a road facing room or else you are likely to hear the train, but if that's what sends you to sleep then it's a bonus :)”
“Dont be afraid by looking at the outside! It's clean and spacious inside and the employees are great. The pool was closed for rehab while we were there, so check with them if the pool is part of your plan. Plenty of free parking. Great location. Breakfast was 5/10....not the greatest, but you will find something. Perfect for a layover. Least expensive place I could find in the area and it did the job.”
