“Impressive selection of clothes, toys, and housewares. Easy to donate items and you get a coupon when you do so. Took off a star because there are no dressing rooms. Will definitely return!”

“Well lit thrift store, big, you never know what you will find! We found some brand new sweatshirts my girls can wear with their uniform for school. We needed some things for costumes for a play and found what was needed. And I donated clothes and toys my kids had outrown. Win all around.”

“As a donor, the process couldn't be easier: no inspection, just drop your stuff into the bins by the entrance. As a shopper, I have found luck with some of their kids' clothes and books, as well as some beautiful vintage glassware. Personally their adult clothing and shoes haven't caught my eye, which they dedicate 75% of the store to. I'd prefer a more curated adult clothing selection as I find the quantity overwhelming with too many items that I think no one is likely to buy.”

“There’s a decent selection and the prices are pretty good. Most things are around $10, few are above $20. The customer service was phenomenal. I had $13.00 of $14.80 and the cashier waved the difference. He was super friendly about it, too. The person I was with was also short a few dollars and he waved the difference, again.”

“This is a well organized, spacious thrift store and it's fun to wander around. The staff are very nice. I thought I had lost something there and called the next morning. Morris picked up at 7:40 am, checked lost and found, and told me that when they cleaned the floors before the store opened, they would check the floors, and call me back.”

“I stopped in to look at a hockey jersey and they did not have my size. They told me to come back the next day, and they had it. They sell things from local artists and the staff members are cool. Welcome to the neighborhood!”

“I love this thrift store, first I have an Xbox 360 so I don’t have that much games for it so I asked my dad if I could go here and he said yes and I found so much 360 games but they were all 5.00 sadly but I picked up 4 games and 2 ds games ?”

“Love this place, lovely family owned store. They're always so helpful. They pretty much have everything you need especially in an emergency. Best part is we get to keep money in our community over national brands. If you live near by and want them to have something that you know you'll continue to buy they are willing to get it to have it on hand for you (of course be reasonable).Just be careful walking in here as there is A LOT so make sure you are careful where you're walking.”

“Their hours a limited, like all NMCRS thrift stores (Tue., Thu. 1100-1300; 1st Sat. of the Month 1000-1400) but it's the only one in the DC area. They have a whole room dedicated to Navy and Marine Corps uniform items. If you need extra khakis or whites, check this place out first before going to the uniform store. Occasionally they'll have bridge coats or pea coats or even mess dress (typically only men's though). I've been told there are other thrift stores with a better selection of women's uniforms but this is the closest one to me and it's better than nothing! They also have a variety of rank devices, ribbons, metals, belts, and all those other small uniform extras that you'll inevitably loose and need to replace. Also a great place to donate rank items when you promote (including the ones that you might have to sew on!) In addition to uniforms, they also have a decent selection of clothing. They have small collections of toys, books, and housewares, and try to set up a seasonal display. Items will be discounted towards the end of the season and prices are generally fair for a thrift store. They just recently started accepting credit cards and were previously cash or check only which is a huge and much appreciated change. You need a military ID to purchase uniform items and base access to get to the thrift store, but it's a great bonus for the local military community.”

“Great Thrift store especially for furniture.
As well if you like DVD, their collection is massive and only 99 cent each. Bathrooms are available and the staff is very friendly.”

“Service is rather poor with all the younger, surly and unprofessional younger folks working there now.
They seem to make up rules as they go along...
But you can get a few bargains.”

“[Part of Giving Tuesday 2019] I can only write from the perspective of a volunteer/donor, but Martha's Table seems to have a strong mission towards helping children and families in the DC area. Our class wanted to organize a clothing/food drive, and Martha's Table seemed to have the most bang for your buck. You can always donate in liquid like every other organization, but not as feasible for someone on the student lifestyle. There's plenty of drop-off locations for clothing and baby items across the city. If you can give food items like canned and dried goods, you gotta go to their Maycroft location on Columbia Rd NW. Easy to just reserve a 15-minute appointment on their website and drop off our load. I see their trucks all around the city serving the community - here's to hoping everyone's littles go a long way.”

“I've been an avid Goodwill thrift store shopper for years! I've bought clothes, shoes, electronics, kitchen essentials, furniture, etc. You need it, Goodwill's got it! The issue now is parking at the new DC store on New York Ave., NE! Where is it?”

“I found a brand new sweatshirt that costed $70 for only $13. They have a better selection compared to the Bowie location. A couple of items here are overpriced so you really have to know what you’re looking for.”
