I was very impressed with Raphael. He is very knowledgeable, courteous, patient and kind. There was no high pressure. He answered every question, even if I had asked it before. I had forgotten my ID and left it at home. He drove me home to get it. He even followed me to the car rental place so I can drop the rental off. Need a car? Check out Raphael - you will not be disappointed.

Not sure how this dealership is able to get any positive reviews. I went to the service department to get some parts for my car this afternoon and stood there for 5 plus minutes. I was told by the next window cashier that that the both the service rep and the manager were in a meeting. Is this what you call running a business??????? Leave customers hanging....this happened around noon btw.

I was initially drawn back by the added fees outlined by the sales person (Victor-lima sanchez), he explained and provided a little discount. However, I want to commend the finance manager (Kemi Akinsanya) for her exceptional support during the car sales process. Her expertise and professionalism made the financial aspect of buying this car smooth and stress-free. She's knowledgeable and always smiling. Thank you for your outstanding service!

First time buying a car. Being 7 months pregnant I wanted something safe and reliable for my daughter and I. Everyone from the beginning to the end (Idris- sales, Bo- sales manager, Tom- general manager and Ms. Crystal Johnson- finance) was exceptional, patient and went out of their way to provide everything I want and needed.I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I will happily refer here to everyone I know and beyond.

I had an 8am appointment for my 2020 Yaris (approximately 22k miles) on 8/8/23, the purpose of which was an oil change and regular scheduled maintenance. I was informed by my service advisor (Mr. Gomes) that I might consider replacing the front brake pads and I agreed. Approximately 4 hours later the work was completed. As soon as I started to drive home, I noticed a sound coming from the underside of the vehicle. I pulled over to inspect the car (see attached photos). I immediately called Mr. Gomes to inform him about the issue. I was told to return to the service center which I was unable to do as I had already taken the morning off work. So now, as a result of shoddy workmanship on a basic service performed at Capital Plaza Toyota, I will need to take additional time off so that the problem will be resolved - hopefully - by tomorrow morning (8/9/23). In addition to notifying my service adviser, Mr. Gomes, I also called Mr. Garcia to make him aware of the aforementioned issue (the receipt clearly states: "If for any reason your visit was not truly exceptional, please contact me as soon as possible!!). Well Mr. Garcia, I left a message for you on your voicemail (apparently you are in a meeting for the entire day) and am writing this review. My vehicle has only been serviced at this location and previously not encountered an issue (hence the 2 star rating). If Capital Plaza Toyota is going to charge $325.06 for labor on basic maintenance, it is not an unreasonable expectation for them to put my vehicle back together properly. Customers beware.

Brought my car in for its 5,000mi service and to look at my air conditioning, which wouldn't work. At other Toyota locations, I've gotten the oil change, tire rotation, and an inspection of the car's systems (for recommended repairs) done in under 24 hours. They did figure out why my AC didn't work, but I would've expected the service to take a third the amount of time. In short, Capital Toyota is far too busy--it's taken over three days to get my car back.Considering there are other Toyota centers nearby--Bowie, Annapolis, Silver Spring--I would avoid this place, especially if you need your car within a day.

Ms Kemi Akinsanya did my finance paperwork and she an excellent job. She explained the benefits of all the products and I got everything. We purchased a 2023 Toyota Camry our sales rep was Mr. Idris. He was very approachable and asked questions to get our needs met. Mr. Williams is the hardest working man in the industry. Ms. Johnson worked diligently with us until everything was complete. Whatever issues or questions we had all of them were approachable and made sure we were satisfied.Thanks again to an awesome team.

Update 2 - 15 July 23And we're back with update #2. I've downgraded the rating from 4 stars to 2. It's been 35+ days since vehicle purchase. I contacted the WV DMV in regard to the registration of the vehicle and they have received NOTHING from the dealership. I can't even pretend to understand what the delay and issues from the dealership perspective are. The response from the WV DMV to my inquiry was received in less than 7 days, even if the dealership didn't know what to do they could have contacted the WV DMV, like I did, and received the same registration instructions I received 2-3 weeks ago. Stupefying! I may be contacting the Better Business Bureau to report their inadequate business practices.Update - 19 June 23I've added a star to my review - I received a call from Ms. Crystal Johnson earlier today, she was on vacation last week. She was able to complete the Toyota Certified Certificate for the vehicle purchase during our 30 minute phone conversation. Kudos to Ms. Crystal, it is obvious that she is a vital cog in the wheel at this dealership. She was able to accomplish in 30-45 minutes something that I spent multiple days last week trying to get resolved. The final hurdle is now the WV vehicle registration. I expect that that will take 30-45 days before I see the final resolution. I'll follow-up on this review then.Pros• Quick purchase process, I had the vehicle within 1 week of initiating contact with the dealership.• Willing to work to reach a mutually agreeable purchase price/trade-in value.• Mostly delivered vehicle as discussed/as promised (minus fuel - tank was only filled above 3/4 vs being topped off)• Sales Rep - Dmarcus, Sales Manager - Boe, and Finance Rep - Crystal, were all attentive and pleasant to work with - up to the point of sale (see Cons)Cons• After-sale contact has been non-existent. I have sent several emails & made several phone calls to the dealership while attempting to confirm the cross-state vehicle registration is being processed and also attempting to obtain the Toyota Used Car Certification - I have not received a response to the emails and am told that the reps are with customers whenever I call. I consider this to be unprofessional and extremely frustrating.• Toyota Used Certification certificate not properly prepared/entered into the sales system prior to purchase. I am still waiting for this certificate.• I coordinated to be at the dealership on Sat., 10 June @ 8:30 am, to finalize the trade-in of my vehicle and the purchase of the new vehicle. The Sales Associate + the Sales Manager were there but the Financing Rep did not show up until after 9:30 am. There was obviously a communication breakdown somewhere along the line. When something is coordinated & scheduled I would expect that schedule to be kept/met.SummaryOverall, I am only partially satisfied with this purchase at this point in time, hence the 3 star review. The delay in completing the paperwork and the lack of the Toyota Used Car Certificate as well as the inability to speak with anyone post-sale factor into this. Depending on how the vehicle registration process goes and how the Toyota Used Car Certification certificate process is addressed I'll be back to either add to or take away from this rating & provide additional comment.
