I moved from PA to NC in May. The move was terrible start to finish. Their (rented Penske) truck broke down on the way to both my pickup and drop off delaying both by a day as I sat around and waited for them. My boxes arrived crushed like they were thrown onto the truck, items were missing and countless items were broken.I was also charged $1,100 more than my quoted amount - stating my items took up more space than they estimated, when no measurement was taken. I was told by my salesperson, Peter Smith, that I’d be able to reach him with any issues. I reached out to him a number of times after this experience and he never once answered or returned a call or email.Now, 6 months later, I’ve FINALLY been paid for the damage they caused.I knew I wasn’t eligible for replacement value (conveniently they don’t even offer any insurance outside of the standard .60/lb), but they refused to take responsibility for most of the damage they caused. They didn’t cover anything I packed myself because they said I would have had to note the damage to the boxes at the time of the move - on my moving form I did just that - on the day of the move I noted that several boxes were completely crushed and I provided photos, but they wouldn’t agree to reimburse for this. They caused damage to more than $2000 worth of my items (including my Peloton bike) and I received $180 when all was said and done. Even after the insurance agreement was signed and submitted it took approx. 3 months to get the reimbursement and this is only after I followed up every day. This company is the worst company I’ve ever worked with - I have no idea how they’re still in business. They’re lucky it’s not worth the hassle for the customers to sue them - and they know this and take advantage of it.Go with a more reputable company that costs a little more. You’ll pay it either way and it’s absolutely not worth the headache.

My belongings showed up a month after they were retrieved. This was much longer than the Alfonso in sales quoted. Additional money was demanded at time of pick up and at delivery which made the cost no where near the number Alfonso documented. Additionally, I was required to stay in a hotel without much updates on the timeline of my delivery. When the packages arrived, they were smashed, suits in wardrobe boxes were at the bottom of the boxes, lounge chairs had dirt on surrounding the bottom of them and my restoration hardware table was unassembled after specifically explaining the table was not meant to be unassembled. I wouldn’t even trust my waste to be managed by them. They were extremely rude and unprofessional every time I communicated a concern. Do it yourself rather than picking this dumpster fire.

The own of this business is God fearing and honest. I used there services and they were professional and courteous I definitely recommend.
