“I found this shop when searching for a caftan on Etsy. When I saw that the shop was in Virginia and not too far, I decided to stop by in-person. Namia was very welcoming and took the time to show the different items she had. You can find a caftan for any occasion, including bridal ones. She has her items designed and sewn in Morocco. Also the prices are reasonable. I was very happy with my purchases and will continue to come back. I keep in touch with Naima, and she is very responsive. She updates me when she has new collections.”

“The Lucky Knot in Old Town Alexandria is such a fun boutique to visit. I absolutely love the nautical and coastal vibes throughout the store—it’s like stepping into a New England summer. Their dresses and tops are so cute, especially the ones with anchors and bold stripes. I found a couple of great pieces that are perfect for warm-weather outings.
The shop itself is beautifully organized and inviting. It’s a great place to pick up something unique for a beach trip or just to add a pop of color to your wardrobe. “A few years ago, I purchased a beautiful mink double breasted coat. It has been a treasured item in my closet to be wore on those cold windy and wet winter days. I wore it once on a very rainy day in Alexandria Virginia and was I surprised the coat was the perfect choice for that particular occasion. It was pouring rain, a bit slushy and damp. When I returned home, my beautiful mink was soaked... I shook it out , put it on the back of a chair and hoped it would be in better shape once dried!!! It was perfect, luscious and shiny and ready to be wore in the worse of winter weather. I highly recommend Gartenhaus for all you fur needs. They also tailored the coat to my request and I absolutely love it!”

“04/01/2025-I have not been inside Marshall’s since Covid 2019. I dropped in to browse the aisles and unwind, looking shoes, a ? dress or outfit to perform in, and pants for office wear! I found the same trendy clothing and styles in Marshall’s to reflect the same merchandise inventory to match Burlington’s! Now I did notice that the prices at Burlington were a little bit more affordable for my pockets. * Same style dresses and all. I enjoyed my browse! I ended up buying a pair of light blue rewash, classic rise A Line blue jeans! *$19.99 and some herbal teas! I am excited! I enjoyed myself-browsing! I had fun, a good wholesome fashion experience!”
