Urgent Service & Major Kudos!! Goes to Dave of Alternative Motors located at 9615 Lanham Severn Road, Lanham MD. Dave ordered and replaced the water pump for my truck in less the 6hrs. with the most EXCEPTIONAL customer service. I showed up early so I was the first to be serviced as promised. He quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts, provided the quote and was finish by 2pm! THANK YOU DAVE; Alternative Motors!

This my second time taking my Transit 250 to them and they always come through with that precise work. Had a diesel truck and was told they don't work on diesel......BUT bring it by anyway. Showed up with the thermostat to be replaced(easier than waiting for ordered parts) took a look at the truck. Work completed less than 20 minutes later with me having peace of mind. NOT A FANCY SHOP!!! If you need fancy don't come here. If you want work done right come here

I have been going to Alternative Motors for years. They are absolutely the most wonderful and helpful people. The service is fantastic, and not only they take the time to clearly explain what's going on with your ride, they dont try to get over on you like so many other places. Dave is phenomenal - I will continue to go here for mt car issues.

This is an excellent repair shop! The owner, Dave, is honest about pricing and the prices are affordable. The quality of the work is thorough and well done. Dave and the staff are knowledgeable, professional, and are people of integrity. For example, I returned to the shop for a different car repair. It turned out one of the parts needed for this repair was still under warranty. Dave called the manufacture, got a new part, and replaced it at no cost to me. They are also professionals of their word; if they tell you a repair will be ready at a certain time, it will be. They are straight up honest and reliable, and I highly recommend them! Belinda
