I pre paid for a van for a road trip with the fam bam. I arrived and there were two staff there, and they were both really friendly and chatty. Checkout was seamless, the van was new, and extremely clean. I didn't experience any of the problems that previous reviewers had. My return went as expected as well.

DON'T GO HERE to have your plans ruined and money wasted. I prepaid and scheduled pick up for 9:30Am. I got there first thing in the morning and they had no cars available. Multiple people standing there with their plans ruined and the explanation was "the airport just came and took all the cars ". Huh ? So it doesn't matter if you prepay with Budget - go with a company that will honor their contracts. They basically said , you can just sit here and wait till someone returns a car and had no empathy for their customers . Never again .

I would give zero stars if I could! I had reservations for Christmas Eve at 9am for a SUV! I get there at 9 am they tell me they do not have any SUV's available. But one is due in at 11:30 am. Now mind you I am going out of town and wanted to be on the road by 10am. So I wait until noon no SUV. I just leave. No one offers me anything. I will no longer use Budget rental ever. Why let me reserve an SUV if you have none available????

March 2022: So I am looking online for the best reviewed budget truck and was completely shocked to see that I left a review and that it was 1 of 2, five star reviews. I read the review before seeing my name and almost thought it was a fake review lol! Well, lets see if they hold up to their customer service standards that I mentioned 7 years ago. I will be renting this Friday and I will come back to update my review to let everyone know of my experience.April 2014 Review: The BEST Truck rental in all of DC, MD,VA! I have rented from here twice already and both experiences were enjoyable! The service I received was just as rewarding this year, as it was when I moved around this same time last year! I reserved a 16' online the night before at a discounted rate. I arrived the next morning about 2-3 hours after reservation time and still received Excellent Customer Service!Professional as well as personable and willing to go the extra mile to appease the customers needs.

Had a reservation for a moving truck to be picked up at 8am. I arrived before the place opened. When the employee arrived, she informed me that their computers were down and they would not be able to rent me a truck. She clearly knew about this the night before; I asked her why I was not notified in advance. She said they could not access the information because the system was down. Here's the thing, though: corporate had all the information in their computer system and could have notified people if this location had told them about the system outage. Employee would not help me in any way other than to give me a phone number to call. The phone number they told me to wait 30 minutes, then call a different number in another time zone. I eventually talked to corporate customer service and they told me it could take two hours to locate another truck and it might take a 30 minute drive to pick it up. I had movers coming and no truck. By the time customer service called me back (at 10am), I had rented a smaller truck from U-Haul--I simply couldn't wait. These people screwed me over on a day when timing was critical. Don't take a risk with this business.

DON'T RENT HERE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They do not know what they are doing. My rental broke down on the second day. My child and I were stranded for 4 hours in the heat. My child is special needs in top of that. Had to get Roadside assistance. Then had to get a lyft home. I got the run around the next day trying to get my refund. Come to find out they closed the contract unbeknownst to me. Went back to the location . There's nothing we can do. So I was forced to go to another rental service. NEVER AGAIN . RUN THE OTHER WA . GO TO SITE ANOTHER LOCATION. ZERO STARS IF I COULD.

Do not support this location. I have made a car reservations with them online three different times and each time when I arrive I am told no cars is available, but the parking lot was full of cars. I was told all the 20+ cars in the parking lot are out of services. If you have no cars, than you should not be open for business. This location is a bad representation for Budget and will only use airport locations.

Horrible experience. Reserved a truck from this location 3weeks in advance. Got there to pick it up and no trucks were available not to mention the one I reserved. Corporate wanted us to drive all over creation to get another truck. Ended up going to u-hull was in and out in the 10 min. Never again. The ladies working the desk were useless too.

Truly disappointed in this company. I booked a truck weeks ahead and they waited until the day before I was moving to tell me that they didn't have a truck for me. The corporate supervisor basically called me and said "we can't find you another truck. Sorry it's last minute. There's nothing we can do so I'm cancelling your reservation and hung up." So unprofessional. Never go to them. Just go through Uhaul. They have a guarantee or they will pay you $50.

very bad experience for my 1st time using your service. No trucks available and the guy in the store was not very welcoming or helpful. Moving is already stressful in its self but your company just made it worst for me. what's the purpose of making a reservation if you dont have what I ask for ..

HORRIBLE COMPANY. THEY ARE FULL OF DISSAPOINTMENT AND HAVE NO REMORSE. MY ADVICE IS DONT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR COMPANY LOGISTICS BECAUSE THEY WILL FAIL YOU!

Wish I could give no stars! They suck!!!!! Reserved a truck and they charged me and didn't even have any trucks for me to pickup. I wasted my time and money; so I left with no truck and the movers waiting to get started. Nobody called to inform me all they had was excuses. This location SUCKS!!!!!!!

I wish I could give them less than a 1 star. They are absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!!!! The personnel are extremely unprofessional and rude. I will NEVER ever rent from them again!!!!!!!! They business should come with a caution sign!!!!!!!!!

By all means do not go here. My review is based on customer service. The male worker forgot his name was wearing dirty sweatpants and black shirt and crocs. You would think it was some homeless guy walking in instead of an employee. Second he cut you off while speaking to him. I prepaid for a rental car went to pick rental car. I gave him drivers license and a credit card for a deposit. He said I need to see credit card you paid with. I didn't have physical card but I had card on Apple Pay. So he refused to rent me a car because he needed to see me holding a credit card in my hand. Then he said call this number and called for next customer.
