“I started classes after a jeweler I admire recommended studying with Dan to learn metalsmithing with the proper techniques, and I'm so glad I did!
Years later, I've set up my own workshop and do custom projects for clients, but I still study with Dan through the extended program because:
-The shop is so well-equipped and I've never been restricted by the availability of tools/equipment
-I am still learning so much from the class projects he designs, which result in beautiful, wearable pieces that allow students to learn and practice multiple skills and techniques through the process.
-Dan is there to provide solid guidance and help figure out the tougher/unfamiliar parts of my custom projects so I feel confident in delivering good work to clients
-There's an open attitude and general expectation of feedback. Students genuinely want to learn and have high expectations of their own work.
-It's fun and feels great to be in the studio! The students are supportive and fun to be around; everyone has their unique style and focus, and there's a sense of community.

We used family stones and came with an idea of how we wanted to reset them but got great advice and suggestions. The quote for the work was very reasonable and they stuck to the quote even when little changes needed to be made. They kept us informed throughout the whole process. We really appreciated how personal the process felt, especially after we had looked into initially going through online vendors.I was also struck by Fleisher’s great selection of silver and gold jewlery— some great (and affordable) finds!My ring is stunning — beautiful craftsmanship and excellent quality. I had one concern with a prong being a little larger than the others and Fleisher’s addressed it immediately. We could not recommend this local jeweler enough and plan to return for our wedding rings! Thank you Fleisher’s!”
