Walked in the store expecting to buy a pair of work boots. The employees said nothing to me when I walked in and didn’t offer to help. Instead they stared at their phones the entire time I was in the store. I don’t need you wait on me hand in foot but you could at least try to sell something.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel like this needs to be addressed. There’s an employee at this Red Wing store named Pablo who is extremely rude and disrespectful to customers. He has used foul language and speaks to people in a very unprofessional manner. It’s disappointing and uncomfortable, especially when nothing is done about it. It reflects poorly on the Red Wing Company. I hope someone higher up sees this and takes it seriously, because me and customers should never be treated this way especially feel threatened by pablo.

I recently visited this store to buy boots, but unfortunately had a very disappointing I recently visited this store to buy a pair of boots and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with the salesperson. He was extremely rude and impatient, saying things like “I don’t have much time. Hurry up, I have to go.” I felt very rushed and uncomfortable during the purchase. Even after I spent $228 on the shoes, he didn’t even bother to put them in a bag.

Going out of state for a job interview and I needed a pair of boots at the last minute. Pablo let me try on four different pairs until I found one that fit exactly how I wanted. He was super polite and professional. He even let my stepdad try the scanner to see what his feet size were. I got a great pair of boots same day.

Working in the construction industry, having the right pair of work boots is non-negotiable—and Red Wing makes the absolute best. This particular store is extremely well run. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They take the time to make sure you’re fitted properly so that your boots are not only comfortable for long days on the job but also safe and supportive.
Red Wing boots aren’t the cheapest, but when it comes to safety and comfort, they’re worth every penny. Can you really put a price on that? Highly recommend this store to anyone who takes their work—and their feet—seriously.

I usually don’t write reviews but felt I had to write one on Laron and Kenna at the Lanham, MD store about my recent visit. Their customer service skills are beyond reproach. They are very knowledgeable in the products and show a genuine concern in assisting customers with making the right choices in their purchases. I had nothing but a great shopping experience. Their demeanors are very pleasant, courteous, polite, professional, and a little bit humorous. People with their work ethics are very much needed in the retail business. Hopefully their ethics will influence their contemporaries to be the same way. They are a valuable asset to Red Wing and I wish them all the best ....“THANKS GUYS!”

Fernando and Laron were fantastic to speak with, and learn from through my few visits to this location. I’ve been to, and have called multiple stores in Maryland and these guys at Lanham by far, were well worth going out of my way to visit, more than once. Great representation for the brand and positive attitudes all around!
