  I was in an accident where a guy ran the light & slammed into my driver side totaling my van. I called this place to schedule physical therapy and the girl that answered the phone said that if I didn’t have a script I could still see the Chiropractor. This was 2 days after my accident. I already had an appointment with my primary care doctor the 20th for something else. He saw in my records I had been a car accident the week prior to my appointment with him. I told him yes, and that I needed to talk to him about it. He said we would talk about it at a later date. Annoyed but because the girl that answered the phone at Active Physical Therapy when I called said I could still see the Chiropractor even without a script. So I arrive early for my appointment because of needing to do paperwork, and when I check in, I give the girl my name, and the first thing she says to me, isn’t “Hello” or and kind of greeting. Not even a smile. It’s “Did you get a script?” I tell her no because my Dr said we would discuss my car accident at a later date. She then proceeded to tell me, “Well we can’t see you without a script.” Lovely. I turn around, with my daughter listening to the whole conversation, and say, “Great patient care, my attorney is going to enjoy hearing about this” (because I have an attorney for my car accident). Just absolutely lovely. Great customer service ??, great patient services ??, highly recommend NOT going here, especially since the girl at the front desk wants to talk out of both ends.So here I am, almost 2 weeks after my car accident, still having a lot of pain in my neck, shoulders, chest, back, and headaches since my accident without any kind of physical relief or physical therapy. I still can’t pick up my 3 yr old son. I can’t bend over without pain, I can’t lay down, I can’t even pick up my 12 lbs puppy without pain. I can’t brush my hair, get dressed, or do any or my normal daily routine stuff without help.So Thank You Active Physical Therapy of Laurel for continuing my pain.

  There is not enough stars for Arlette in this review. She is simply the best. She Took very good care of my injury. Got me right back where I needed to be. She listens carefully each time I had a visit and made sure she worked on the small issues I was having with my knee each time. I can't thank you enough. Rebeca at Front desk was always alert and very friendly. I recommend Active PT for anyone in need of physical therapy. Make sure you ask for Arlette :)Thank you again. I will definitely be back in the future.

  I received outstanding service from the physical therapists. They made me feel welcomed and really cared about how I felt. They wanted me to feel better and encouraged me along the way. I want to give a shout out to their wonderful staff - receptionists, techs Asia and Bryan, therapists Arlette and Arionka. I know I probably didn't spell their names correctly. I would highly recommend this company and location. I always left feeling good. I want to thank each one with my journey to improvement.

  I can't speak highly enough of this practice. The whole team is very friendly, knowledgeable, bilingual and professional. I had a trimalleolar fracture of my left ankle. The excellent experience started from the front desk where I was always greeted cordially to all the amazing staff. I primarily worked with Arlette Thompson. She set up therapy to my individual needs. Everything was explained thoroughly. She is dedicated to all her patients. I can't thank her enough for my recovery! I would recommend this business to family and friends who are in need of physical therapy!

  I am 79 years old with several medical complication such as HBP, DT2’Polio, Cabag 6 bypass, Arthiritis lower back surgery, Knee surgery among others. So I am in need for PT help almost all the time. I tried many of PT facilities around Laurel MD during the last 10years and never went back one more time. Recently during the last summer I searched the net by the PT qualifications I got to review Dr Aryanka experience I decided to give her a try and requested that only her to be responsible about my treatment even before meeting her. It was and still great professional and efficient experience. I told my wife about Dr Arianka and joined the facilities since then. I had cervical spinal surgery on Nov 3rd and just released from home P/OT last Monday. I will join the facilities to continue treatment with Dr Arianka.The experience with the rest of staff was great, courteous and professional.Many thanks for great professional treatment.

  Just finished hand/wrist therapy with Ann Marie. She is outstanding. Ann Marie has a gentle touch and a special kindness towards her patients. She is knowledgeable and has many exercises and activities to help strengthen and improve your condition as you heal. I recommend Ann Marie highly and know you won't be disappointed. She also works in the College Park office. Her new trainee Shania is also very skilled.

  The Team at Active Physical Therapy in Laurel are great as individuals and as a Team. They're very Patient and know their jobs, I was skeptical and felt like a lot of things were repetitive, but I had to realize that this is not my line of work and allow them to do their jobs. I had to Yrust the Process, and the rest was History, I'm proud to say I am back at work after 8 months total between In home OT/PT and outpatient OT/PT, and able to perform my job again which requires a lot of climbing, pushing, pulling and lifting etc.Thank you Tyler, Arlette, Osha, Asia, I can't remember the other PT lady and the OT that worked on leg and hand. Also sorry if I spelled anyone's name wrong.

  I chose Active Physical for my treatment after reading about several similar PT organizations. I was impressed with the location, (easy access), and the layout of the facility.Upon arrival I was greeted warmly, and I felt welcomed by each person with whom I interacted. Although my 5 months of care at Active PT was received primarily from Aryanka, an outstanding therapist, I must say that each member of the staff was equally amazing.My initial visits to APT confirmed what I'd read in some of the online reviews. Aryanka was very personable and attentive to the care that she gave. In addition to being quite knowledgeable about the service she offers, she performed it with confidence, humility, grace, and yes, rigor, when necessary. (And that's because my progress was important to her).Some other aspects of APT I appreciated were the appointment text reminders, and occasional phone calls when I forget to make an appointment, and the timeliness. I never had to wait when I arrive for my appointment, and lastly, the cleanliness of the facility. Yes, I do admire how the staff is constantly picking up and wiping down to ensure optimum safety, cleanliness and sanitation.I am happy that I chose APT for my care.
