Came in to get a new fob for my truck. Did the legwork the day before (make sure part in stock/work order created). Presented the work order, that clearly stated a new fob at 7:15. At 9:15 service rep said work was completed and was presented two replacement keys?? Received a thorough runaround from the rep and was told so nonchalantly that I would have to wait another hour (+\-) . No apology, just blame shifting. Asked for a refund so I could go to another dealership and have the work done but was told since the order was closed a refund was not possible, that it had to come from central which could be 6-8 weeks.The Service Manager was excellent (Andre) but by that time I was beside myself with his team’s inefficiency and ineffectiveness. I applaud his conflict resolution will never go there again.

The evening I dropped my vehicle, the young lady was also covering the phones and other employees kept interrupting her for things they needed. All the while, I had to wait for her to be available for her to take my keys.Then, when I tried to pic up my car, the first time, there was no one on the front. I rang the bell twice with no response. Hearing voices around the side of the room, I walked around to see if someone could help me. I was told that my vehicle was not ready, as my new key had not been programmed.So, I returned 24 hours later. Again, no one was out front and no one answered the bell. There were two other customers also waiting. Again, I walked to the left side, where I had to wait in line behind other customers. This time, the car was ready, but I had to return to the front to pay for my car.This was a lot of waiting in a world where things can be more instantaneous. It was frustrating for me, a first time customer to this location. Luckily, this was not my primary vehicle and I did not need it.It would seem that better communication and improved customer service is something that needs to be considered at this dealership. You are in business because of your customers. Leading with a customer--focused mentality and having management that subscribes to such an approach would only make the dealership a better place, not just for the customers but also for the employees.

Oscar at AutoNation of Laurel is one awesome representation of customer service for this location. Hope he don’t want to move up within or move from but get financial increases regardless staying as the head of customer relations for AutoNation of Laurel.
