Store is clean and tidy and well stocked. Manager and staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They were able to test my old car battery in minutes and replace it in a just a few minutes more. Why would I go anyplace else.

I have been here several times over the last couple years and every time I have gone, the price has increased every time. $This time; 14.00 for a key fob button battery that on Amazon sells for $3 for 2 of them. I hate getting ripped off, that's why I am writing this. I wouldn't mind say $8.50 or something........... but $14 - WTF!!!I'm done with this joint, getting batteries elsewhere from now on. Also, I have about 20 watches and used to go here for replacement batteries, but that's about $15 and I said I was done last time I went for that. So, I swear..... I'M DONE with this store/franchise. I never see reasonable prices coming back to this store. Buh -Bye.....

I suspected the battery in my car was malfunctioning so I stopped by here. Had to give the 2 gentlemen kudos for assisting me (younger guy and his older manager), they assisted me with no issue and basically told me what I needed to do. Had to give a good referral because I had a bad experience at another location the night before trying to diagnose my car.

The women working the evening shift on Sundays is just horrible. Purchased a battery at around 4:15pm. Her attitude was horrendous. Was told that the store closes at 5pm so they couldn’t install the battery I purchased. My wife went to ask if we could borrow the tool to install the battery ourselves. She said to her colleague “ you’re not going to install it are you?Very horrible customer service experience. Luckily I was able to go the Rockville store and received 10000% better service.

Just what is needed in Laurel! Don't let the name fool you. Although there are batteries here (many more types than found in a regular store), there are also other charging products, bulbs, and even flashlights available! The store staff are very knowledgeable, and this makes for a great experience every time.

I placed an online order and it was available immediately for pickup. All other stores in the area were out of stock.When I picked up the online order the lady that helped me was so nice and helpful. She even gave me some tips to start getting into fishing. Amazing experience.However when returning the core the person working was talking with someone else on his earbuds the whole time complaining that he had to help customers. He was also playing on a portable game console. Totally unprofessional.

Had the batteries I needed. People working there really weren't very pleasant, but did help us find the right batteries. The person we interacted with a year ago was much nicer.

Salesperson messed up the simple core refund. Said the credit card machine process didn't work, and she couldn't do it again to make it work. Later, it turns out she entered the refund as a cash one, so yeah, the credit process wouldn't work. She didn't give me the cash, I wonder where it went. She had a rude attitude, kept trying to blame me for the process not working. When I get home with the two batteries, it turns out they gave me the wrong ones, even though I had pre-ordered a day before. 60-mile and 1-1/2 hour round trip to go back and get the right ones. Maybe that's a case where you have the correct batteries delivered to the customer rather than have him drive back to the store???

Steer clear. Not a store or people you want to do business with.I purchased a car battery on Saturday July 2, 2003 from this Batteries PLus as they were the only store (30 mile drive) that had the exact battery I was looking for. At home and after some assessment I realized the battery was wrong for my intention, so on the following Monday I took it back to the store 100% unused or installed in perfecto original condition for a refund.The sales lady indignantly told me I could not get a refund without the store owner's permission, who would be in the store two days later. I came back on Wednesday (30 more miles driven) to see the store owner and he told me they didn't have refunds on batteries, only other items in the store. WT?I showed the store owner the reverse of my Batteries Plus reciept where it said: "refunds would be applied to the credit card used by the purchser" and it didn't say anything about what products were exempt from refunds. The store owner reluctantly gave me a full refund.Bottom line......steer clear of this Batteries Plus. Go elsewhere.

They have the item I purchased at the best price I know. You have to know how to play their game to get it though. You need to buy it online, pick it up at the store and wait until they give the best possible discount (15% discount) usually right before a holiday
