April 2024 by Matthew U.
In preparation of an upcoming event where people from across the nation were coming, I wanted to prep myself and get some OTC medications that would combat some bugs that might be tagging along. I had one day to do this as I was nearing the deadline for arrivals. Being in the Laurel area I decided to stop here first in hopes of grabbing everything I needed. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot and saw how many vehicles were there and how hard it was to navigate, I should have headed elsewhere. I didn't follow my gut feeling and went inside. It took me a while to browse the shelves to find the appropriate aisle I needed. I did find one medication on the shelf right away. The others were behind the pharmacy counter. I only found this out after going into the aisle that was packed with people waiting to pick up medications to grab the cards for the items I needed. I diligently stood in that line, waiting my turn. This line moved slower than lava approaching the shoreline. I stood there and noticed that the one pharmacy tech had two registers open to deal with the line of customers. Minding my own business, clinching my jaw, listening to the worsening, under-their-breath, comments from the person behind me, I was finally at the register. I handed over the two cards to the lady to grab from behind the counter and waited. She went to the area where they should have been and shouted from there to me that they didn't have it. I had grabbed the store brand card and asked if they had the name brand. Another shout, no. Then they asked me if I wanted something that wasn't even what I was looking for. I politely declined. When the pharmacy tech approached me she again told me they didn't have it. I know, I was here as well as the twenty other customers. She then told me that I could go next door to their competitor to see if they had it. She joked about how they didn't have it and was making light of the fact that I just stood in this line for about a half hour to not receive what I wanted. Her response was something along the lines of, oh well, not my fault. I then said to her, the least you could do is remove the cards from the shelf so people don't stand here in hopes of fulfilling their need to be told it's not available. Simple, and I wouldn't have wasted my time, nearly an hour at that point in this store. Needless to say. I made my way outside with the one item they did have and headed towards their competitor.

If you're thinking of using this pharmacy, don't. Thank me later. Slow service, ignorant staff.

I would give them zero stars if possible. Everyone there is ignorant and incompetent. They are always understaffed and so rude. This has got to be the worst pharmacy I've ever been to in my entire life. Everyone, including the pharmacist are rude and unhelpful.

If I could give them 0 stars I would for the pharmacy! How about all of us who have complaints with the pharmacy just take our business somewhere else since they obviously they don't care to have enough staff to service their customers. You call they hang up on you or they put you on hold and never answer your questions! It makes no sense! I'm in search of a new pharmacy

Writing another review here just to highlight the absolutely atrocious pharmacy service. I was diagnosed with the flu late enough in the evening that I needed a 24-hour pharmacy to send my tamiflu prescription to (otherwise I avoid this place like the plague.) I pull up to the drive through window, and there are not one, not two, but three *handwritten* signs that say "please come inside for service." So I take my 102 degree fever, flu having self inside to the extremely long pharmacy line to pick up this time sensitive prescription. While me and all of these other people who followed directions and went inside are waiting in line, someone pulls up to the drive through window and the pharmacists start serving them. Through the drive through window. That clearly says "please come inside for service." Three times. So which is it CVS????? Just a profoundly unprofessional operation all around.

This pharmacy is the pits. Longest wait ever, no one at register. People are waiting indefinitely, hoping for someone to man the register. Crazy.

THE WORST PHARMACY LOCATION EVER. The line wraps around the building at any time of the day. I sit in the drive through line for more than an hour every single time. Sometimes either the drive through or the lobby are closed which creates more traffic. I just called the pharmacy and waited on hold for 46 minutes just for someone to pick up the phone and hang up on me immediately. I called back and got an automated message saying that the pharmacy is now closed for lunch. I would have respected more if the person who answered told me to call back after 2 instead of being hung up on after waiting on the line for 46 minutes. I am not sure if this is a staffing issue or something else but with the amount of traffic this location receives, something needs to change.

I drove 20 minutes on my lunch break to pick up a script. I arrive and I’m told the pharmacy is closed for lunch. The site states this location is 24 hours. No where at this location or online is there any verbiage that states this location is closed from 1:30-2:30 pm for lunch. I run a retail business & we rotate associates in & out for lunch so customers are always able to be serviced. This is the very last time I step into a CVS. Stop calling yourselves “The neighborhood pharmacy”. This is no longer a statement you run your business by. This location never provides friendly or caring service. Always Rude!

If you need a prescription filled right away, DO NOT SEND IT HERE! Send your medicine to another location or you will be waiting for days! They never fill the medicine on time and I called them and was on hold for 30 plus minutes! They never answer, understaffed, and medicine is not readily available. The lines are always long! This place is a nuisance to deal with. Stay away if you can.

If I could give this place a zero, I would! It's so ridiculous how they treat customers. Their communication could be better, and they give you the runaround and tell you they can't help you. You must contact that prescriber, but they won't tell you why! My prescriber called them and couldn't get through either! I have called them 3 times a day for the last three days, trying to get my allergy medication filled...I'm done with them. I'm transferring all my medications to a new CVS.. a better one! & everyone else should, too. Because this CVS honestly does not care. I have given them many chances, but my experience with them has remained the same. And it is so sad. But transfer your prescriptions elsewhere..this CVS is a lost cause.
