My experience at this location (Laurel 14203 Baltimore Ave) was horrible!!! Sam, the store manager was very rude, dimissive, and unprofessional!!! I was explaining how a member of her staff said they close at 8pm. I drive an hour and a half to get there before 8, and they're closed. She admitted that they knowingly gave a false time. She began going back and forth with me and showed no empathy in the way she spoke to me. I will never patronize this business ever again!!! When I asked her name and her manager's name, she acted like she did not want to give me the information. Customer service has deteriorated and if you do not want to work in your field/at your job...QUIT!!! Find something else that suits you. Customer service goes a long way and determines if one will shop with you again. Businesses need to understand that!!!

Not so great experience today as I wanted to sell my PS4 and a couple of games since I’m no longer playing it, and the associate says he doesn’t have cash to give me, given it’s 5:00pm in the afternoon so I’m confused why you wouldn’t have at least $100 dollars in your drawer.
I wasn’t so upset about the not having cash part I get it , but more so of how the information was relayed to me , no options or alternatives were given just an end to the experience.
Just looking for more of a why and alternative (other locations) to help me with my problem next time.

Selection on PS5 games sucks. Dude didn’t know what he was talking about. Not very professional. Don’t know about customer service. If he reads this post “ GAME THAT SAYS “ REQUIERES PS SUBSCRIPTION TO PLAY”. It means it is required only to play online and with friends. YOU DONT NEED A SUBSCRIPTION TO PLAY OFFLINE SOLO. I almost didn’t bought the game because guy told me I needed ps plus. Like he almost was mad because I was telling him you don’t need it. But I do t waste time with ignorance. I’ve been in games since he was probably crawling. Too bad.

This is the best GameStop to me, the guy Mike always help me out with every decision I make. He also has great conversations whenever I come in sometimes it has nothing to do with games. I will keep coming to this location as long as he is there.

An employee named Jay was awesome here. An African American guy came in demanding a code for Razor and was threatening the store employee and customers. This man even went as far as to say there was racism involved and wanted his name on a piece of paper. Jay handled this customer very well and was able to get him to leave. Jay deserves a medal for that encounter lmao!

The blaque guy that always looks unkept is very/always rude, he doesn’t greet customers and tells you what he’s not gonna do rather than giving you an explanation as to why. He always acts like people are bothering him. Someone else made the same review below about him maybe reevaluate your staff to get the bad seed out of there. He claims their ipad testing equipment is just broken with no means of fixing it.

Michael, or whoever the gentleman is working this Sunday, is an excellent employee. ? customer service and vibe was wonderful and helpful. GameSpot you are lucky to have people like him still working for you after the way your workers were treated during the pandemic. I hope he is appreciated and acknowledged.

I called this location last night to see if they had (2) ps5 in stock. I was told they did but only the digital version which ran a little over 600 bucks per system. I asked "john doe" if he could hold it and he stated he was unable to, but i totally understood. I called again this afternoon to double check availability and spoke to an employee by the name of "Ritchie" who stated they did. I was only 5 min away and had my husband go in to purchase. Ritchie, who was on a personal call didn't acknowledge my husband until after his call was done. My husband then stated he was there to purchase the game system. Ritchie said "oh we don't have any". Disappointed, he returned to the car empty handed. Shortly after, a white man entered the facility and came out with a ps5 that they said they no longer had. Because I was so upset, I chose to call Ritchie instead of going back in. I asked for a manager and he stated he was the manager. I asked for someone over him and he stated there was no one and to follow the instructions on the website . I will be calling corporate tomorrow
