GIANT LAUREL lost a customer today. I had a cart full of groceries this morning., the one check out line had several people on it so I headed over to self check out. there was two of us and we split the groceries as I explained this to the self checkout guy. instead of discussingnthe , after he calls the security person who tells us that we have to, go to a line. again I explained that the line at the one check out is long. she insisted we go. when we arrived S T the line the customer had a cart with much more items in front of me. I simply left my cart and left the store. As I exited I noticed that there was no one, not one person at the self check out area. the attendant was standing there with his hands behind his back. yet he couldn't allow the two of us to utilize the self check out area. As we continued to exit the guard asked how many people are on the line. I said several and there is no one in self check out. it doesn't , make sense that I could not use self check out. I understand that there may have been issues at the store with theft. however, when you punish the people who aren't stealing from you because of the people who are then you loose the people who a rent stealing from you. As you did today. Now all you have are the people stealing from you. I will never patronize this establishment again. The only difference between having and safe way is the customer service. Great prices, pretty decent selection. Fish counter at plaza giant in greenbelt smelled horrible. Laurel fish counter was much better. Great customer service folks.

I had the pleasure of receiving exceptional service from Preeti, the pharmacist at Giant in Laurel, MD. Preeti's patience, kindness, and professionalism have truly made a difference in my experience with the pharmacy. She went above and beyond in assisting me with getting information about my prescription, and making me feel like I was in good hands throughout the process. Her sympathetic approach to my needs was greatly appreciated. Thanks to Preeti's outstanding service, I will continue to be a loyal customer of this pharmacy. She is a true asset to the team and deserves all the recognition for her exceptional care and dedication!!!

The red meats in this store is always bad and they still be trying to sell it when it should be thrown away. Several times I purchased steaks thinking I found a good pack when I get home to find that it’s totally brown underneath with a bad smell. I don’t have the time and patience to take it back so I would just trash it. I stopped buying meats from there.

HELLO we purchased items from Giant 1009 Fairlawn Ave, Laurel, MD 20707 through Instachart (IT WAS NOT THE DRIVER FAULT)... we had a bug not sure how many but 1 is to many and the spring mix was OLD SMELT OLD AND NASTY.. I don't have a vehicle to take it back so how do we take action because now I'm going to write a review everyday until that giant has fresh products to sell to customers... NOW I can not have the meal I planned to make for my family.. it's not the first time I've had old rotten food this time I had enough either close it down or get NEW WORKERS AND OR EQUIPMENT. I will be reporting this Giant to the FDA AND WHO EVER ELSE.

Located nearby la fitness; they carry bottled immunity juices & teas and offers self service kiosk for convenient check out. Needed something pre workout hydration and post workout recovery.

The saddest pharmacy on God's green earth. With most lying and biased pharmacist working. The pharmacist uses lies to get herself off your radar. Example would be that I can't pay cash for meds when someone is on Medicaid. They never have the medications. They say no order ever arrived. Call you to come pick them up and still don't have them....AT ALL! Then argue that 12 + 8 does not equal 20. Seriously. The pharmacist argued that. Poor customer service. Poor ordering ahead. Poor all around being a pharmacy. Poor awareness of their customers needs and health. Business elsewhere is probably for the best.

Came from buying lamb from this store! Read the date on the receipt it says packaged on the 25th so I would presume it’s very fresh! I got home and opened the package, a horrible smell hit me. I was like maybe if I wash it , season it, it’ll do the trick! My whole house smelled like pigs had ran through it ! The smell was very strong! I called the giant and someone tells me well the store is about to close call tomorrow. It’s not even about the $23 at this point it’s the fact that they packaged bad meat and sold it to people. I told the young lady please tell the meat people that the lamb is bad. She doesn’t even acknowledge what I’m saying! Why play with people’s health! My babies and I ended up eating snacks for Christmas,instead of a delicious meal I had promised them! Very sad indeed.

Prices have elevated everywhere but Giant does seem to still have quite a few sales but be careful. Some sales make kore sense than others. Like some sales make you purchase more than you need, just to get the deal. If you don't purchase the quadruple sale, then you must pay not the fraction but full price. This seems to happen at this location a lot. Be careful in the parking lot bcuz it's like the Indy 5000! Ppl speed thru and some parking spots are very tight. Park further away from the entrance and they are larger. Be smart and make a list that you can stick to.

One star should be minus 10 As a stage 2 cancer patient I unfortunately need pain management My doctor sent over A Prescription for the first time Without any questions or concerns I was basically told to take my scam somewhere else I highly recommend using a different Pharmacy

Got my sons shot here. Our appointment did not start near on time, but the doc was nice and knocked everyone out in a matter of fifteen mins. Great job handling the magnitude of people they see. Going back when spots open for my booster.

Definitely not my regular location but happened to be nearby and just needed like two things. Ran in, got them, did the self-checkout and rolled out! The parking lot here is very congested as there are so many businesses over here and some people are driving fast! The store seems very dark and could use an update. The produce section was lacking. Again, not my go to store so won't come here again.

This is the worst pharmacy I have experienced ever. My doctor sent a prescription for one my medicines to this pharmacy. But they are telling that they didn't receive it. Then I contacted the doctor again. The doctor sent me a picture as proof that he has ordered. The picture clearly shows that the order has been sent to this pharmacy. Also before, when I talked to the pharmacy for the same medicine, the lady was telling me that she will fax the doctor since they didn't receive the order. Next day, when I called the pharmacy, another person was telling me that they don't have any option to fax like this. He was telling me he doesn't know why the lady told me that. I don't understand what kind of people work here? Do they have enough qualification to work as a pharmacist?
