When I started planning my son's Birthday/Graduation party, I already knew I wanted to have it at Grand Occasions. Natasha and her staff were excellent from the time I booked. They made my son's party seamless and that made all the difference. The venue is beautiful and was the perfect setting and ambiance for my son's celebration. My guests had a wonderful time and absolutely loved the venue. The food was delicious, the staff and the service were incredible. 1st class service and I can't thank them enough for all they did to make this happen. I am forever grateful. If you're having an event, look no further because Grand Occasions is it!!!!

Gran Occassion Laurel Hall 9375 Washington Blvd Laurel MD Please read twice before rent this place, the place is overprized, too much rules and they do not accept complaints, They push to renters to use their companies who are working with them, AS decorators, servers and bartender, this people don't have idea how to be an professional how to run as waitress as simple is. My guest was against the wall, with no table, I bring my self chairs from their waiting office. They charge for 1 security I didn't see him my husband neither. The servers or waitress offering on the place, Grand Occasion push the renters to hire them, are completely null on how to attend and event and how to serve a guest. I went to many formal parties and weddings and I never see this kind of problems or disorder. I complained with the manager and CEO but Natasha was completely arrogant, she cannot at least been able to preside an meeting with the host when we were explaining that his people they are not competent for the place. My party was on 12/16/23. I spend a lot money on the party and 50% of my guest without food, because the food was offered to guest without precaution, the servers was not covering their place as the way I explained them, at the moment of the food. Nathasha the CEO told me that It was necessary an party planner, and party planner just to push to do simple things? I don't get it the point. Just server the food, call table by table, or bring out the champagne for toast. I told them this things. They are ADULTS PERSON, On the meeting on 12/18/23 she was on the side of the waitress . The servers ruined the Quinceañera dinner time. THIS PEOPLE ARE COMPLETELY NULL IN HOW TO SERVE THE GUEST. There was not any toast the call was ignored for the servers. Champagne $ 35 the bottle went to trash. Please if you don't want stress in your party, stay away from this place. Any party specially an Quinceañera are for fun, for happiness.This place is showing good reviews, I don't believed this reviews can be the workers there, saying that there's plenty of parking, my guest was walking to the venue because the parking is very small, My party failed in simple things but ruined my imagen with my guest. As mother I do not recommended this place. Arrogant people. There was 1 Spanish lady there with long black hair the only person in Grand Occasion on the meeting who was there and pay attention to my husband and me.Please stay away from this place. This is an real review.

I had a birthday celebration at Grand Occasions and it was excellent. The staff, especially the manager in charge of my event was fantastic! She was friendly and went all out and did her job professionally. The set up of the tables and chairs were well managed, the parking had some staff directing the guests, the walk through was provided before the event. I loved the services and we had fun. Thank you.

Had a great! experience! Natasha and her team were very professional and made my day spectacular. i also had decorations performed by Bella (in house florist) who did a fantastic job. Definitely recommend!

My brother’s wedding was here last month and I would not recommend this venue for multiple reasons. Prior to the event, I didn’t interact with the management much but on the day of, during set up and the actual event, my family and I had many issues. It was mainly with two people. Management there mocked vendors for their accents, made fun of our culture, and turned off water in the kitchen during the event. One of the women (who I believe is the owner) there during the set up time was just very rude to us, and we didn’t feel respected. During the event, they were rude to guests - one of the guards even physically moving someone. The parking was a mess and some guests said they had to pay to get a spot. There were also multiple outlets that didn’t work in the foyer room, so we couldn’t set up our coffee/tea station. After the event, we noticed the water was turned back on. They also asked one of our family members to broom the place even though we paid a cleaning fee that covers that. Overall, it was a bad experience for us and again I would advise you focus on bettering customer interactions because it really was a disruption to our night.

It was an amazing experience working at Grand Occasions. From the moment we booked the venue to the day of the event and afterwards, the entire staff was very helpful and accommodating. Natasha and her staff helped us through out the process of setting up at our event and communicated with our team the entire time to make sure we had a smooth sail. I would recommend Grand Occasions if you want to have the most beautiful weddings and events.

Grand Occasions Laurel was so professional and accommodating of our needs. I hosted my daughter's first birthday there. We had a great time! I would recommend them to friends and family. Book fast though, because their calendar fills up quickly!

This venue has a lot of potential however it needs some improvements. we recently hosted a charity ball there and here are my thoughts:1. The space is very nice and once decorated well, it looks amazing.2. The acoustics are awful. It does not matter how great the stereo system is, the sound is horrible because of the tall ceiling. it needs to be padded properly and sealed off to protect the sound. The music and speeches did not project into the space because of this reason and that was horrible because this was a fundraiser.3. Parking - this was a nightmare. They had 2 big events going on at the same time and even our guests who were early had to park their cars very far away because it filled up very early.4. Bartenders - they insist on using their recommended bar tenders. Demola, who is the least expensive is rude, unprofessional and his staff is just lousy and not trained to deal with a classy crowd.5. Bathrooms - very clean however we were forced to share bathrooms with the other party going on in the next room.6. The set up crew was very nice before the event but rude at the end.Overall, this hall has a lot of porential if management is:1. Willing to fix the acoustics2. Increase the event end time to 3 am3. Dont have 2 big events going on at the same time or have separate bathrooms and make better provision for parking4. Allow patrons to bring in their own bartenders as long as they are licensed 5. train staff to be better at the end of the event so they will return

We had our 25th wedding anniversary at the venue and it was just the greates experience, everything went so wonderful and the personnel at the venue were just so professional. They weren attentive to all of our needs. Thank you for everything. You guys are the best.
