Disgusting - don't waste your money, please. This doesn't even approximate real Korean food. Asked for corn cheese and got the metal bowl in the attached picture - a couple scoops of corn with congealed mayonnaise and black pepper.Kimchi was old and soggy. The side dishes were old, dry, and had clearly been sitting out.The spicy rice cake (we expected tteokbokki) was literally tteok with a side of *hot sauce*.Asked for gochujang and got watery gochujang with sugar in it.The meat was terrible quality and tasted meh at best. The rice tasted like minute rice and didn't clump like it'd been steamed in a rice cooker. The only thing Korean about this place was the soju...

I love going to Korean grills I’m from Florida so I don’t know if service is different here. But from the moment I walked in I felt uncomfortable my waiter never smiled once it felt like I was bothering her. Also every time my pan at the grill needed to be changed I had to request it which again she had the face like it was such a bother. I’m use to someone being cheerful and glad to explain the food and how everything works so it was very different. Then when I was hit was the check it had a mandatory 18% tip that was outrageous I didn’t see that anywhere and I was not in a group so no wonder my waitress was so moody she got a big tip no matter what service she provided and let me tell you she definitely didn’t deserve it.Definitely never would go again customer service goes a long way. But the food was good.

The experience was abysmal. Seemingly some bias in our interaction. Had to walk out as we were unable to get quality service. We had a child guest at the family holiday function that did not eat the food served in the restaurant and they were trying to charge us for the child /minor who did not eat the food they served. We were gathering for a family function. They asked us to have a child/ a minor go sit at the bar and was not permitted to sit at the table with us. Left and went to the hot pot at the mall in the neighboring mall.Kid-friendliness: Horrible accommodations.

I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance was cozy, and the food was fantastic. The Korean BBQ they served was some of the best I have tasted. The highlight of the meal, however, was the Hawaiian bulgogi and Spicy pork belly. The meat was tender and juicy, and the flavors were exquisite. The staff were helpful, and the service was excellent. I also enjoyed the selection of Korean beer and soju.I think the best part about the ambiance is that they aren’t so loud with their music and videos that you can’t hold a conversation, like some other KBBQ places in the region.I would definitely recommend Kogi Underground to anyone looking for Korean BBQ in a charming environment. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous, giving you value for your money. I will surely be coming back to enjoy more of their food.Thank you for a great dining experience.Dietary restrictions: Several of us have dietary allergies, and they go out of their way to find options to feed us.Wheelchair accessibility: Right at the corner of the building so they have two ways to get to the doors. Very wide aisles and tables with chairs that can be moved.

The food is delicious but the service is extremely slow, it’s 1.5 hour time limit to eat and half that time we’re waiting to get the next meats.

We had a table of 5 people. The portions were so small for everything. They also ran out of gochujang sauce.

Can't believe I never about this place until I saw a Facebook ad. Decided to treat myself just now because I needed it. Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. Spencer provided great service. I'll be back. Highly recommend.

Sarah and Spencer are amazing! We’ve loved the service every time we come. They can accommodate my allergens more than any other Korean BBQ place - their dishes are so delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough! They even offer seasonal mocktails for folks that don’t drink alcohol but want something other than just “Coke/Pepsi”. They had a strawberry one for summer that was like a strawberry Italian soda!

We just went in to enjoy a nice lunch because we used to love this place. Not only was the hostess not that friendly but while setting up our table she dropped my chop stick pack on the floor while setting up the table. I get it, this happens but then she proceeded to put the pack that was just on the floor ON TOP OF MY PLATE! I am supposed to now eat off this plate? We just walked out. If you are willing to give me dirty stuff off the floor right in front of me, who knows what else you are doing. I’ll pass!

I have been to this restaurant twice now within a month. The food does not disappoint! The sides of vegetables are plenty and seasoned. They have good side options, and the proteins are on point. The servers are attentive to your needs and very cheerful. This is my new spot!

We aren't going back due to having an Iron Age and Honey Pig closer to us, but we also wouldn't go back if we lived nearby due to not meeting the expectations in respect to variety we have from other establishments like the aforementioned. Our service was great minus the waiter being forgetful by not bringing certain items out with everything else.Service could have also benefited from having each waiter being assigned a column or groups of tables opposed to random tables everywhere. Service wasn't too slow, but we also know we aren't too needy since we cook the meat ourselves and eat slowly. The meat quality is about the same as you would get at Iron Age. Downside of the meat choices was the lack of seasoning for seasoned items.Banchan variety was minimal. The three banchan served were ssammu (pickled radish paper), baek kimchi (white kimchi), and jangajji (soy pickled radish). The worst part was that we were served Thai sweet chili sauce as one of the two sauces. The other sauce was the soy/sugar/vinegar. They should substitute the Thai sweet chili sauce with sesame oil with salt and pepper. The cheese corn side was overly salty, wasn't cheesy, and was more creamy than anything.Kogi probably aims to be different by having different dipping sauces, but it misses the mark. It seems to want to be a KBBQ restaurant aimed at shy palates; keep this in mind if you come here expecting typical KBBQ flavors.
