I just love that this store opens at 8am! So convenient to grab something before an all day festival and still be able to get there early!

A few weeks ago, I had an encounter at your establishment that disturbed me greatly. There was an older man wearing glasses behind the counter that displayed a terrible moment in customer service with me. I felt disrespected just by his attitude toward me. It was unacceptable. There was a younger man with long hair also behind the counter, who I’ve always seen display excellent customer service by the way.As a business owner you have an obligation to the community you serve. The community that keeps your lights on, and puts money in your pockets. Why even have a business in any community? You have an obligation to provide excellent customer service to all regardless of race, creed, sexual orientation or socioeconomic situation. Regardless of whatever kind of day you’re having. If you are having a bad day you should not be interacting with customers. You have no idea whether the customer that just walked in your store just lost their mother, their child, or the love of their life. What you should know is that each customer that walks in your door is human and should be treated as such. With respect and dignity, at a minimum. You do not get to grunt and display your obvious aggravation at your customer. How dare you.Perhaps you don’t know the history of liquor stores and the BIPOC community in these United States. Perhaps you should educate yourself.Have a wonderful day. I will not be back. Do better. Please and thank you.

Arrived at this liquor store a few minutes before closing and was denied access. There was a short white guy at the door who said the store was closed. I politely informed the employee I already knew what I was getting and would be in and out swiftly. Customers were still in the store as well. However I was still told the store was closed and denied access. As I walked a few steps away, a white customer walked up to the door and briefly pleaded to be let in to make a purchase. As I watched on, the same guy who denied me access opened the door for the white customer to enter and quickly locked the door. If the store is closed, then I assume it's closed to all customers. For someone to blatantly show such bias, ignorant behavior is beyond comprehension. I've visited this store numerous times. This is not the first time I've witnessed some questionable customer service. I will definitely rethink twice about patronizing this business again.

Great selection of drinks, they even have ginger wine (seasonal). They have tastings from time to time whenever new liquor or wine comes in the store. Very friendly staff too! Try Cocosky if you love gin and coconut!!
