I have been a loyal customer and had items in this storage facility for approximately 10 years. Staff are not available on the property or work as advertised. My property has been destroyed in this storage unit by Rats that I did not bring, nor was this an issue when I initially rented the space. There were massive rat droppings everywhere when I went to empty my storage unit.
Ms Payton, who did her best to address my concerns, stood with myself and family as we listened to what seemed like someone in the storage unit as we attempted to enter it. Later, we found that the noise was actually rodents. Ms Payton, advised that she hears those noises throughout the storage units as she walks the spaces.
I gave ample notice that I was vacating the unit. I was advised by Ms Payton that it would be entered into the system that the unit was vacated and that I would not be charged. Public Storage charged me anyway.
I was advised by Ms Yesman in customer service that it could take up to two weeks to reverse the charge. This charge should have never occurred. Beware! Be Careful! Hold the management and staff accountable. More importantly report incidents regarding safety on the property and any billing issues!
My experience may not be yours but this is factual information. I share this information with the hopes that this particular location will improve, and customers will have factual information from a tenured, loyal customer who expected a better experience than what the property manager gave to me. Please Read the reviews and make an informed decision to contract with this location.
