I have mixed feelings about my visit today. Usually it's pretty easy and i can look around without any issues. Things felt weird after an employee came over and talked over me after asking what I was looking for, only to say she could reccomend something 10x better than what i was looking at or i could "keep doing what im doing."I brushed her off with a "thanks i'm fine" since the product I wanted was out of stock. Her comment also rubbed me the wrong way because it was kind of snobby after she announced her specialties with skincare. The situation made me decide to not keep looking in the section and move on since the lady was still hovering. I went over to another shelf and out of a side glance I could see the lady staring at me closeby/kind of over my shoulder..it was so awkward! Luckily i just went further into an aisle and then heard her give her skincare speech to some other shopper. I'm sure my dermatologist will be 10x more knowledgable than that random lady.

Morgyn is amazing!!! I got a brow lamination, tint (dark brown) and wax and I am SO HAPPY with the work Morgyn did. I wanted to step my self care game up and treat myself for my birthday. I have always wanted fuller brows.This was my first time getting my brows laminated and tinted. Morgyn explained every step and gave me after care tips. I also wanted to start incorporating more make up and she helped me pick out a great highlighter, blush and eyebrow setter.Thank you again Morgyn, you truly made a difference in my day.

9/11/23. My last visit to this location was my last. Worse customer service ever. As I stood there with close to $150.00 worth of products (would have been $300) because I wanted perfume, there were 3 cashiers. Two cashiers left to help customers on the floor even though I was standing in line prior to the customers approaching the counter asking for assistance, and the Associate Manager was just standing there talking with the other Associates and testing something on her hand before she finally looked up and asked if I was ready. I went to the Columbia location the same evening for my fragrance and the experience was like night and day.

I was pleasantly surprised that Ulta's Benefit Brow Bar has opened again. I scheduled my appointment with the Arch expert, Morgyn. She is so sweet and professional. She conducted consultation before the service began, ensuring the wax's temperature wasn't too hot, and it wasn't practically painless (to me). I have not had this service for a few months, and it was long overdue, but it’s worth the wait. I am skeptical about who will provide this service, but she did a fantastic job! If you want to leave your brow appointment feeling beautiful and satisfied, schedule with Morgyn! ?

It was good for the most part. Definitely need more workers. I also didn't really like that everything was locked up, it made the shopping experience bad because I couldn't get the help I needed because there weren't any available workers.

Everyone in the store is both extremely nice and helpful! The manager on duty gave me some good recommendations, and Vanessa helped me pick out so many products that would be good for my skin type and skin tone. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this location! They were well stocked and had a good selection of products as well!!

Wide variety of products with a very good selection. The staff was very friendly and Emily personally took the time to help me pick a few new products and was extremely patient as I figured out what would work bests for me. The prices were amazing and I liked there were testers for a lot of the different products. Definitely recommend this location.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! As a Latina mother I felt harassed and ashamed. It was my first time at this location. The minute we entered the store an employee started following us and even brought security. We were just walking around looking for the best products for my daughters hair. Then my daughter pointed it out that the employee kept looking and following us.She felt uncomfortable so we bought what we needed and left. I will never be returning to this ulta again.

Honestly just go to Sephora, this location never has anything at all. The shelves are bare and looks a mess. Every time I go into this location my anxiety is set off because I don't know if I'll be racially profiled or not. Not only that the workers look miserable to be there.

As I’m reading through reviews here, I’m very disappointed the customer complaints about racial profiling happening at this store that span years, yet based on my experience in the past and just today, it is clear nothing has been done to remedy it so far therefore Ulta has no intention of doing anything about it.Today, Monday Jan 2, 2023, I entered the store, looked through a few display items, then made my way to the Maybelline section. Prior to visiting this store I researched a lip gloss I was looking for and saw that Ulta likely carried the shade I wanted. I saw a shade similar to what I was looking for and opened it so I could see the shade outside the packaging, as it can look different once it is outside of the tube. I was not looking to test it on my lips, since that would be completely unsanitary. I was abruptly approached by one of your staff who harassed me and my friend, insisting that these products do not have a tester. I immediately let her know I was not looking to test a lip gloss. She then said she’d need to take the item from me because the seal had been broken. I let her know the product did not have a seal. Looking at the tube now, it does have a seal but the perforation is intact indicating the lip gloss had previously been opened without breaking the seal. So much for keeping an eye on customers opening lip glosses. I let the associate know I intended to buy the product I had just opened and she turned and left. I’m not sure how she noticed what I was doing among so many other customers in the store. Why did I stand out? I know why.This interaction was intentionally tactless and based on racial profiling. To ensure the profitability of this location, it would be best practice to treat all customers respectfully. It’s great to have an Ulta in my community but not so much if the staff endeavor to make customers of color feel unwelcome.Customers of color will not be scared away and will continue browsing, shopping, and taking up space until we are treated as respected patrons of this business.

An associate named Lexi was very helpful with choosing fragrances when I described what I was looking for and testing fragrances. Store is clean as well.
