Unfortunately, this was the worst pharmacy experience I have ever had. They initially provided me with an incomplete dosage. The prescription was for 8 weeks, but they only gave me a 2-week supply. After realizing the dosage was incomplete once I got home, I called the pharmacy. The pharmacist responded by saying, "That was the only amount the insurance would pay for." I explained that no one had communicated this to me and that I would have paid the full amount to get the complete dose, regardless of insurance coverage. He then asked me to hold while he checked something. After a few moments, the pharmacist returned and informed me that they actually did not have any more of that medication in stock.
In hindsight, I should have paid attention to the pharmacy's existing reviews, which rated it only 2 stars out of 5. I disregarded those reviews and still chose this pharmacy, but I now realize that reviews do matter. My advice to others is: don't ignore reviews. They are there for a reason and can help you avoid such disappointing experiences.

I Gregory, went to Walgreens on 600 Washington Blvd in laurel, md at 5:43 pm. A cashier that was a young white woman, had a very rude and sarcastic attitude. SHE CLAIMED THAT SHE WAS A MANAGER AND SHE WAS NOT A MANAGER AT ALL.THE EMPLOYEES ARE SO GHETTO. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PCUSTOMERS NOT TO GO TO GO TO THIS LOCATION.

Geesh! I came here to leave a comment regarding the experience I had yesterday with the young man at the pharmacy section but when I read some of the other comments left about this store I see this is just their toxic work culture. These people are so fortunate to have a job because many are looking and you would think they would treat customers a little better. The guy was so rude but I see why now.

After thoroughly reviewing the feedback for Walgreens at 600 Washington Blvd, it is evident that there is a notable lack of concern for customer service at this location. My second encounter with a lady on the night shift, presumably a manager, further solidified this perception. Her managerial role was deduced from the fact that other employees required her access code for system-related tasks. However, her demeanor and attitude were the only indicators, leaving customers without a clear way to identify her status.
My experience involved attempting to return multiple items that exceeded the system's limit, preventing the transaction. While this issue was not a major concern for me, the manager's response was alarming. Instead of understanding the situation, she treated me with a dismissive attitude, insinuating an attempt to scam the system. The lack of empathy and understanding regarding the reasons for returns is disheartening.
Many customers, as evidenced by reviews, have faced challenges with Walgreens, including the presence of outdated products mixed with valid ones. Ordering online for home delivery also presents issues, with employees, including managers, inadvertently delivering expired medicine. Upon returning these products, blame is unjustly shifted to the customer.
Several questions arise regarding the managerial staff's training and understanding of the system. Managers are not just figureheads; they are essential in guiding and training their team. If they lack a deep understanding of the system, how can they effectively train new employees? It is concerning when the manager claims ignorance by stating, "I don't know; the system said that." Blindly trusting the system without verification raises doubts about their competence.
Managers should be familiar with the system's intricacies, as it is designed based on human input. If uncertainty persists, taking relevant courses in deep learning, machine learning, and AI should be a priority before making judgments based solely on machine output.
It is crucial to emphasize that employees at Walgreens are there to serve the customers, not to treat it as their own business. The role of an employee is to support Walgreens and its customers by performing tasks diligently and responsibly. I urge the management to prioritize proper training and understanding of the system, ensuring a more positive experience for both customers and employees.
In conclusion, I implore all employees, especially managers, to fulfill their roles with diligence and responsibility, keeping in mind that Walgreens is a place of employment, not a personal business.
Sincerely,

I had to wait over 30min just to talk to someone. When I did speak to someone, he told me ibhad to wait another 30min to get the medication. This is the worst service I have ever experienced. They only had 3 people working and I think the prescription was not even ready for a pick up. Very bad. Stay away from this plqce.

The customer service here is horrible. The staff acts like you’re bothering them if you need anything. Literally spoke to Tawanna, who was ringing me in and she ignored my greetings, my thanks to you and all. She kept walking away from the register to the point of me having to grab my bag and receipt out of the machine because she acted as if she didn't want to be there or do the bare minimum of what her job required. Mined you this isn't the first time she rang me in so I wasn't too surprised.

I had my doctor call in a prescription. I was told that she should call it in differently to have it filled. I sent her an email. I never received any follow up from the pharmacy. I called and I was told that it was ordered. I should stop by tomorrow. I went in person to pick it up. I was told to wait for 20 minutes and that they could give me the brand name instead. When I returned, I was rudely told to come back on Monday by the pharmacist and that we’d already talked about it. Trust me, we had not. I spoke to someone else entirely. Don’t use this location. They have no respect for you, your time or your patience.
