Two trips in a row that I went to the Birdies store. I've never dealt with such a nasty manager. She does not know how to talk to people decently and her smart comments are not necessary. Pretty sad.

The store closes at 10pm, pumps are shut off at 11pm. It would be great if the pumps could stay on until midnight so all the hospital employees who leave at 11 can get gas too.

The staff at the leonardtown birdies goes above and beyond ! I order pizza at this location all the time and it’s always my girl Kelly taking my order ! They are always very fast and kind and I enjoy chitchatting with them as I wait for my pizza. HOWEVER they changed the cheese they use on their pizza and it tastes gross now 😢 please change the cheese back or you will be loosing a good customer !

They will not allow you to use the restroom, even if you're a paying customer.

No bathrooms, even if you are a paying customer. If you ask if there is a bathroom, they will say “Yeah, across the street at Dairy Queen.” Kind of strange to me a gas station does not have a public bathroom.
Besides that, there is a good selection of goods here, in good stock, well organized, and at decent prices.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Kelly is an extremely rude worker. I stood at the counter for 3 minutes before I said “hello” and she came out from the back slamming stuff. She slammed my cigarettes on the counter. Slammed the register open and slammed it shut. She is rude and has no business working with customers. This has been the 3rd time this employee was rude and ignorant to me ! You should be fired with that nasty attitude of yours !

Can't speak on the gas prices but the energy drink prices are the best I've found locally for a gas station. The cashier Daniel on morning shift is super friendly and welcoming. He was also very responsive and kind when I called to see if I forgot our debt card there. Only draw back about this location is the intersection it's on is quite busy so you have to pay close attention coming in and out so you don't get hit.

I would give it negative stars if I could, I have never in my life have seen how employees get screamed at in front of customers. An older lady with glasses was yelling at the girl at the counter with multiple customers in the store, I think she’s the manager but she is NOT nice or customer service friendly I felt so bad for the employees no wonder there’s barley new employees in there, I go there pretty often and I see the same people in there and I just feel awful for them,i wouldn’t want to work there in my worst nightmare.

DO NOT USE A CARD AT THIS STORE!!Used my debit card and twice they overcharged my card then declined the purchase but still took the money. Took days to get a refund. Employees are rude and of no help! Wouldn't even give 1 star if I didn't have to.

I have to say any other time I have been here, the young employees have been nice. Today, was not the case. The older woman who was at the register was neither friendly nor communicative. When approaching the counter she was engrossed in her writing and didn't bother to look up. With her head down, she said "ma'am" and I asked her politely if I could get $25 on pump four, she didn't say anything and took my cash. She then proceeded to check the two 20 bills I gave her with the marker (totally fine) but felt the need to examine them further by flipping them and making sure they were still valid bills. I could understand this if I were paying a large sum of money, but this was not the case. After checking the bills thoroughly and getting my change she handed me back my change without looking up or saying anything. No thank you, have a nice day, bye or even a look of disgust. I must say that I will not be returning to this gas station and will go out of my way to take my business elsewhere. I'm not sure if this woman was having a bad day (she helped the woman in front of me with great pleasure) or if she just doesn't like people of color. Nonetheless, I don't support behavior like this from anyone and will not be back.
