We stayed at the Lexington Park location in Maryland and had an unusual experience, the housekeeping entered our room without permission ( we had a do not enter sign on our door) and she left an open roll of toilet paper on the floor (nasty) when I went down to inquire the lady at the front desk says no one came in our room but the housekeeper explained she did come in the room by mistake ( what??) then I asked why she left an open roll of tissue on the floor who wants to use toilet paper that was on the floor we went back and forth for a few minutes she had an attitude that I called her out I asked to speak to the manager and the lady at the desk said the manager would get back with me but she never did but they did charge me $250 for a smoking fee and I don’t smoke! When I called the location the lady that claimed to be the GM was rude changed her story 2 times then hung up on me! I called back and she claimed the call dropped!! I have stayed at this hotel several times and have never had an experience like this! The staff this visit was unprofessional and down right nasty ? beware of this location

Nice location, rooms are good, and check-in staff was very helpful. But I will not stay here again due to the extremely poor wifi! I was trying to complete college homework and it's been 3 days of struggling to get anything done. The internet constantly drops off hourly many times. Then last straw was the third day, wifi was down over an hour so called front desk to see if they could reset the router. The response was as if I have never used wifi before, "we can show you how if you come to the front desk". I said my computer, work phone, and personal phone all will not connect to wifi, which all 3 did when it would work for 3 minutes then die again for the last 6 hours. Please update the system or provide troubleshooting techniques for employees, usually it just cycle power.

Bizarre and shockingly unprepared management - greeted by a sign essentially saying nobody was there to help. I needed to pick up an item left by a colleague and had to wait 15 minutes for them to 'find the manager' - acted as if this was the first time someone had left something behind. Did not even attempt to call or search. Seemed highly disorganized. Would be worried to stay here. Happy I stayed at the Marriott.

Stayed here early September- They were in a huge remodel- they didn't have a sign. Many of the amenities were not available as advertisedPool closedNo furniture in our roomWifi didn't workCable wasn't working in our roomParking lot was filled with construction equipment/dumsters/materialsIt wasn't as advertised- I sought a partial refund through priceline/and the hotel and neither want to take accountability for false advertising. So you've all been warned- you may not get close to what you pay for.

First time customer, selected this brand due to availability. Checked in for a week stay, hotel is close to base so i thought it would be nice for the $700 im paying for 5 nights. Its not. To start, every night of the week has a different charge, staff could not tell me why.Shower water pressure is less then desireable, but it "works"Had breakfast in the morning. Yes it was free, but could have been better and earlier, not served till 630, consisted of boiled bag eggs that were oily and paper thin bacon, diy waffle, standard bagged breads and muffins, fruit was days old as banannas were brown, and apples started going soft. The internet connection is unreliable, continually disconnected into the nightIf you travel with your own hdmi device, you have to call front desk every time you connect as they have the only remote with "input control". Thats if they answer then phone.Pictures of the room speak for themselves, i dont understand how a room like this is considered to be the "acceptable standard".will be looking for better accomdations asap, and never staying at a choice hotel again

This hotel feels new. It "feels" nice. The bed was comfortable and the TV is nice. The cable is actually seems to be quite extensive. My TV had problem and the attendant was prompt about fixing it. (Seems as the remote sensor was lose). The breakfast was good. I personally miss the oatmeal or grits. But for most people it will work very well. Also, NO smoking except in a designated spot outside. Unfortunately it is right by a side door, so you have to endure the stench while you go in.... but it was clean and comfortable.Rooms: Nice rooms furnished well very clean. The rooms were nice and clean.

We have stayed here on a few different occasions. Staff is kind. Breakfast is nice. It is super hot in the hotel and elevators so be prepared. Our only complaint is the room we stayed in on the 5th floor. Room 511 on the end had stuff on every wall in the room. Not sure what it is but it's gross. Dirty handprints, stuff dripping down the walls. They desperately need cleaned or repainted. It's 100 percent noticeable and makes the entire room feel dirty. Other than that the stay was overall good. It's just difficult to feel like you're in a clean room when every wall you look at has junk on it.

Rooms: Very noisy rooms facing the road, asked for room that faces the back but was told the room I booked faces the road and she didn’t want to change. I am a diamond member by the way.I came here to sleep and if I can’t get any sleep because of the street noises the place doesn’t deserve any star and it wasn’t cheap for $130.

I informed the hotel desk clerk that the refrigerator and safe in the room weren't working. We would have to do without them unless we switched to a different room, which was too much trouble after everything was already set up in the room. She promised that the building engineer would stop by the next morning at 8 am to remedy the situation, which he did. However, our biggest complaint was that the left elevator would not stop at the 2nd floor, where we were staying, and that every time you called the right elevator, only the left one would open. This was a major problem because we had to get a dolly with all of our belongings upstairs. My fishing friend, Jeff, figured out that one elevator in every building has a home floor in case of fire and/or the need to evacuate. Therefore, we had to to take the left elevator up to the 3rd floor, the right elevator's home base, to retrieve it and take it back to the 1st floor to transport the dolly upstairs. This problem was finally remedied, but only after our 2 night stay was over. In conclusion, the hotel staff should have closed up the 2nd floor temporarily until the second elevator was repaired, or they should of at least warned their guests ahead of time. Plus the room should have have been inspected prior to our arrival to see if the safe and refrigerator were working.
