Called 911 on a woman for taking a single pack of DIAPERS. How about you try to help a struggling member of the community instead of wasting tax payer resources on some nonsense like that? We know damn well that these type of stores carry insurance for inventory loss and something like a pack of diapers will NOT affect this store. They acted like she filled up her cart with unnecessary luxuries and ran. I can’t help but notice that this woman was a POC after several reviews of this store mention racially motivated actions. Perhaps it’s time for new management.Shame on you. I won’t be back.

Racial Profiling and Retaliation by Michael Matthews. But this going to the top the Civil rights and to court. I have him on video cursing me out. Making false reports to 911 and changing his story to the police body cam. Making a Facebook just for him. He need to go. I removed my mask because I was sick now the entire staff was exposed to my illness. Which i.show the police my medication. Working on court orders now for body camera. Order stay turn for the Facebook pageToday around 1140am, th store will showcase manamIkr and the worker, with the long dread lock, load Mike car up with store Who stealing now and the the guy that help him load the car was the same one that try to throw me out throw me out the car claiming he was a dC police officer which has been report to Internal affairs.

Mike the general manager is a menace to the customers that walk in and he comes across very prejudice. I don’t understand with all the 911 calls he’s placed Family dollar isn’t viewing him as a liability

If I could give less than 1 star I would one employee In particular Logan I had to find out his name because he was not wearing a name tag stated he couldn't do something even if his policy said because he didn't want to risk his job was very rude and ignorant won't be back and intend on spreading the word seemed Racially motivated, Beyond disgusted

Today I went to Family Dollar in Lexington Park on my lunch hour to purchase a few items and to my surprise, I encountered the worst customer service from the store manager. He was very rude, offensive and obnoxious! The first sign of rudeness! I was standing in the aisle and suddenly I heard a loud noise as I turned the manger was coming at full speed with a flatbed cart. I immediately stepped out of his way. He did not give any signal or said anything to informed me that I should remove out of his way. Secondly, I went to check-out and left my items on the counter. He asked could I come and remove them because he was unable to check the next customer out. I said sir I am coming I only wanted to pick-up vitamins. As I approached the counter he had checked out a lady that had come up to the counter. As he checked my items out he did not give me any bags for my bleach and I asked for the items to be bag and he told me the bags are to expensive. I asked for his manager information---his response again he was the manager and no one was above him. I informed that he was very rude! He told me to get out his store because I was trespassing and was on camera. Being upset the way I was treated, I return to the store to ask for a full refund. He told the cashier do not give me a refund and he was calling the police because I was trespassing. I explained I only wanted my money back.As you can see by my review there are problems with this store with bad customer services starting with the manager and his employees. Bad management breeds bad customer service!

First off let me start by saying I've never left a complaint on anyone anywhere, well it seems today will be officially the first. Family Dollar is or well I thought was a customer service friendly business. Well the one in Lexington Park is far from that... The light skinned girl behind the register consistently has a nasty attitude , she didn't even greet me when I walked in the door, as she also had a customer waiting over five minutes while she acted as if she didn't exist. Then she yells at me that I must leave my bag at the front.... Now, her asking me to leave my shopping bags at the front isn't the issue. It's the fact that she didn't take the time to greet me when I walked in and she immediately barked at me about the bag. As I'm walking up I told her I don't have a problem leaving the bag but you can ask in a better way. She immediately wants to argue with me tells me I can leave the store which i wasn't prepared to do. So I continued to follow my colleague to the back while he shopped. Now management walks up, doesn't even ask me about the situation or how it went wrong, he immediately takes her side and says well that's the rules . I said sir I have no problem following the rules , what I do have a problem with is the disrespectful attitude the lack of acknowledgement and the level of entitlement in which was exerted from his disrespectful employee ... So he says to me well we have a lot of people who come in with bags and go to the back so we do come with an attitude from time to time.... I was in disbelief, that he tried to justify her actions.... My response was so happily paying unknown customers have to deal with your disgruntled employees and negative attitude due to others mistakes .... Needless to say this isn't the first time I've had a bad experience there.... This is just the last time I'm willing to deal with it.... I will never shop there again. I wont be a belittled paying customer by a classless young lady and out of touch managers who don't understand how customer service works.... If you're unhappy with your job, quit. Nobody should have to deal with such unwarranted negativity. Nobody! Proceed with caution and know that respect is something that isn't given to customers at family dollar in lexington park.... I could go a lot deeper into the issue but I'm flustered and this is enough. Now I'm calling corporate.

Its 10 minutes till closing on Christmas eve when i walk in the door. Ive already been all over town and its my last hope. The young man at the register didnt scold me or remind me that they closed soon. He walks with me, shows me the heater i came for, and saves the day. Im a Florida boy in Maryland for Christmas. Ridiculous that pull up at 8:56 when they close at 9 and the door is already locked with the worker stating that they close at 8:55.. terrible customer service when I go in anyways. Will not be returning to this store.
