I don't remember all the ticket prices, but $7 for military and spouses and $4 for kids 5-12. It is a great museum that the aircraft focuses on aircraft related to the NAS. We spent about 1.5 hrs here. In addition to the planes, they have another building that revolves around the technology of aircraft, and there are simulators on the weekend.

Every year when I travel to Lexington Park for vacation, I make it a routine to stop by the museum. This "little" museum is packed with tons of interesting aircraft, artifacts and memorabilia. The staff (Orange Hats) are either retired pilots, support crew or tech specialists who gladly answer any/all questions you may have. This museum has grown by leaps and bounds since my first visit at 12 (now I'm 43) and never disappoints! So take a few hours, learn something about or Navy and it's aviation history and relax! Thank you all for everything you all do!

Absolutely awesome Air museum. They have lots of rich history above past and present aircraft. It definitely capture the whole story of naval aviation. Would highly recommend visiting this museum if you are in the area. The museum is never really busy so you can buy tickets at the door. Make sure you check out the static displays and the back building as well!

Surprisingly detailed explanations and interesting exhibits from the US Naval Aviation history, with focus on 1950-1980s period. There are two separate buildings, plus an outdoor park with over a dozen planes. Make sure you take time to see it all.

Interesting! While I am an airplane guy myself, I will say this museum had a bunch of cool old aircraft that caught my eye including the f14 and f35 which were super awesome. I loved the flight simulator and the fact that it was taken out of an old f14 made me feel like I was actually flying it. Super cool. Will come again when I’m in this part of Maryland.

I can’t believe I spent almost 5 hours in this museum. The folks are so friendly and helpful. The exhibits are overwhelming, you can stand right next to an Osprey or a Blue Angel aircraft or a one if a kind plane. They even have a saved Lighthouse cupola that was removed from Cedar Point before it was taken by the river water.A MOON ROCK! I have never seen one so close up. Astronaut Jim Lovell chose this museum to display his moon rock. There is so much history here and some many of the exhibits can be linked to the local naval base.I recommend visiting this wonderful museum and walking through history that we can normally only see from the ground.Look to the sky and be proud of those who have served our country.

Absolutely loved this place. There's actually two museums, the first has a few planes and a drone helicopter along with one of the first F-35 test models. The second building has more of the equipment used on the planes, model aircraft along with cut outs of the engines. In this same building are also flight simulators, this was a great experience. It's only 10 dollars for 30 minutes. The software is from the 90's so it's really outdated but the fact that you can get in the cockpit of a formerly operational military aircraft is just wild. The guys that work there are either former active military or engineers who worked with the aircraft there. They're all extremely knowledgeable and have some great stories about the aircraft. It's a great place to kill a few hours.

This is a very cool aviation museum. You can just feel the innovation that went on and tested at pax river.

The museum is about preserving the history and heritage of Naval Aviation and associated technology. Touching the Blue Angel on display was awesome! Additionally, the history / legacy of one of the local lighthouses, Cedar Point was honored.

Friday morning visit. Small crowd. A USN unit was having a ceremonial award presentation which impacted the main building but actually added to the visit. I had visited the museum 25 years ago when it was a quonset hut and planes parked in a parking lot, so this new facility was great to see. The Main Building was spotless and the artifacts well presented. The ramp parking area was clean and organized but.....There is no such thing as a bad air museum. There is always something to see and something to learn. But without a docent or guide the museum is just a junk yard of old metal. It is unique that all the planes on display actually flew at Pax River but there was no explanation why. What was the research goal? What was the result of the tests and did airmen sacrifice their lives to gain the knowledge. So while I will always visit a museum, I left Pax River disappointed.

Excellent air museum. A must visit if you are in the area. There are some unique exhibits here given the nature of what goes on, mostly in secret, at the naval air station.Visiting on a Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon it was very quiet. The docents were very knowledgeable.I got to shoot down some bandits and perform a carrier landing in the F14 simulator before ripping around the Bay Area with an A10. The gift shop is reasonably priced and has some goodies for kids Halloween outfits.

This is a great museum for the price. Right now they only have their main building open and the flight line, while they renovate their other building. So the price is $5 for adults right now, but goes back up to $9 once the other building re-opens. This museum has a lot of great information and a lot of jets, helicopters, weapons, and other aircraft to see. They have a cinema area and a gift shop in the main building as well. The flight line has about 24 aircraft to check out on it and you can walk around most of them. A couple are being restored which is good to see. Overall, definitely worth a visit.
