My experience today was horrible. I went for a hair trim, just a hair trim, that also they couldn’t do it properly. On one side it’s long and the other side is short. I went for half an inch that also they messed up. It was an African American lady with glasses who gave me service and as soon as she took me, I could tell that she didn’t like me or she doesn’t like her job. Furthermore, sometimes they trim my hair properly and sometimes it’s horrible. I’m sorry but I don’t think so I’m going there again.

Seen a very disappointing experience at the Great Clips in Lusby, Maryland. The manager, Cheryl, clearly prioritizes speed over quality—she pushes the stylists to get people in and out in 15 minutes, no matter the hair type. I noticed this especially with textured hair.
Textured hair takes time, care, and attention—not everything can be done in 15 minutes. And it’s honestly upsetting to feel like my hair isn’t treated with the same importance as others. Cheryl’s attitude creates a stressful environment where stylists aren’t even given the space to do their best work. I don’t blame them—I blame the way she runs the shop.

It’s mind blowing to me that the new ownership and management does not support veterans. I’m big on supporting local, but it seems that a $2 discount from a $24 mediocre haircut is too much of a discount to ensure a returning local customer. Enjoy the fall of your business 🙃

I am thrilled with my haircut on November 14 2024.
The beautician expertly cut my short straight hair exactly as I requested. Plan to return in 6-7 weeks and have the beautician cut my hair again.

My daughter and I just left there. We absolutely loved Kirstin! She was so great to talk to. We got our hair braided by her and I 10 out of 10 recommend her and her hair cutting services. She actually fixed my hair cut from someone else who's no longer there because it was uneven. My daughter loves her braid and she doesn't always leave her hair up but as soon as we left she said mom I love it! So please see kirstin if you need anything done. We will be back to see her very soon and I will be sending more people tour way because of her. Thank you so much Kirstin!

I have been a consistent customer at this location for almost 6 years, and sadly, I no longer plan to return. Since the ownership and management changed, the welcoming employees I had come to know have moved on. What was a 5 min drive of convenience and confidence in quality is gone, as well as the "local" feel the business had.
