I absolutely love this branch for more then one reason. My bank card got compromised and I stopped at this branch. John assisted me with such accuracy and enthusiasm, making me feel as if I was the only customer there that mattered. Before i knew it, he was done replacing my card and I was on my merry way. In the evening it is hard to find a parking spot to use the ATM. The restaurants in the shopping center do not have enough parking, so patrons park in the spots marked for SECU only. This starts as soon as the bank closes.

I really hate the fact that there are no tellers and you have to do everything on a screen what makes it really disgusting is that the screens are not adjusted properly they don't sit High Enough they're difficult to put numbers in hit the screen do what you're supposed to and drive through. Very poor

I had to make an appointment to come to the Timonium branch of SECU because the Towson branch had no available appointments? Anyway, I made my 9:30am appointment online and drive to Timonium. They quizzed me at the door for possible Corona-19 symptoms. I needed a check for earnest money and got helped right away-- the whole process took about 5 minutes. Thanks, Alex, for the excellent service!

I have been a SECU member for a decade, and have generally really appreciated their responsiveness, customer service and customer-centered mindset. That said, four months into coronavirus lockdown, they still have not fully adjusted to be able to provide basic services. I had a card compromised two months ago, and it took three weeks to reach someone about shutting the card off. A month and a half later, my card has still not arrived, and I can't get in touch with anyone about it. Every phone number you call has a winding tree of options, none of which lead to talking to a human being--each one says you can leave a voicemail, but does not actually have an option for leaving one. Messages sent online are not returned. This was not my experience with SECU prior, but I am frustrated and have lost confidence in this financial institution.

We are done with SECU. We have done business with credit unions across 3 states for 20 years and have NEVER received such poor service and refusal to assist. We have a joint account very clearly and after not receiving my wifes pin number after receiving a replacement card, we attempted to call to have it set or have a new one mailed. They only return calls during their adjusted business hours which is not aligned for essential workers who also work during these same hours and are unable to receive calls. I am the primary on the account with very clear documentation this is a joint account. She cannot go to the branch due to limited hours and availability. They do not return phone calls at times that customers are available and all they say is "sorry we can't help you". They have cancelled both cards when only the one was lost completely cutting us off from access to our money for 2 weeks. SECU needs to do significant improvements to their services, systems and level of customer service provided by both the agents AND managers. Unless the refusal to assist the joint account holder is a Maryland law, SECU has implemented excruciating processes that are the most unfriendly and unhelpful of any business I have ever seen making it painful to continue to maintain my accounts. As soon as we locate another suitable credit union, we will pull all accounts away. Bye Felicia!

The atm machines are inconsistent pieces of trash! I know I'm not the only person who has had issues depositing/withdrawing money from their machines outside. Went by today to deposit some cash, crossing my fingers to use the machine, and it stole $200 from me and said the equipment failed! No money went into my account. Now it's Sunday and I have nobody to call except a robot that is completely useless! Thanks SECU. Maybe spend some money to upgrade your machines outside.

Came in with my husband to obtain some information on a loan. There is ample parking. Only thing I didn't like the door was is too small for entries and exits. Was immediately greeted as we entered. Informed to sign in and to have a seat and wait till we are called. There were others that came in and were seated and was waited on first and then we were called back. The young lady was not receptive nor friendly. No smile. She assisted us to her best ability. We were told someone will call us with hour.
