“Green Glen was there for me even though I was not a patient of theres. My beloved horse coliced and I called them for emergency service. They came out at night to tend to him. He was doing okay when the dr left, I had to call her again the next morning to come back and she had to give me the dreaded news that he would have to be put down. Most horrible day of my life. The dr was very patient and caring. She gave me the time I needed to call my husband and to say goodbye to my very best friend. My soul horse. I was heavily pregnant at the time and the Dr was very cautious and helpful. She made sure my boy passed peacefully. She cut some of his mane and tail for me to have to keep as a keepsake. She also arranged for the pick up service to come out to collect him. I later received a condolences card in the mail and everyone had signed it. While a card doesn’t bring back my sweet boy, it warmed my heart that they cared enough to send me a hand signed card when they could have just moved on with their life’s. Thank you Green Glen and one day when I get another horse friend I’ll be sure to contact you about becoming a true patient.”

We have 5 pets, 2 dogs, Makena and Kuki, and 3 cats, Chérie, Carmela and Emanuele, and all are trated by Dr. Wimmer, Dr. Sprando and the entire team at Carroll County Vet. We've recently had some scares, and the team has been our lifeline. The most difficult situation for us has been the ongoing treatment of Carmela and if it weren't for the incredible dedication of this amazing team of professionals I don't even know where we'd be. To all of you, our utmost grattitude for always being there for us and our babies, and for the care and love you've been showing our Carmela. “2/12/26 I can’t say enough about the care we received last night at CCAE. The staff was amazing! They went out their way to take care of our cat while constantly communicating treatment plans and options. We were there for hours and were consistently updated with his progress. They were kind, straightforward, patient and so very helpful. They were also, very cognizant of how expensive emergency care can be and took great care to make sure our little guy got the treatment he needed without unnecessary cost. When you are scared and trying to make decisions, that is very much appreciated. Our medical team was not only compassionate to our family but to other clients as well. While there, we witnessed their treatment of several devastated pet owners who unfortunately had to make life altering decisions for their pets.
