The doctor's have great bedside manners, been a patient of Dr. Brown for many years. And the front staff are kind with good customers service.

The RNs that work the front desk and prescription desk are so nice and friendly. However, I have a fundamental issue with not being able to reach a live person to pick up the phone every time I call! Its ridiculous for a doctors office to screen their calls! And all the menu does is direct you to another person’s/office’s voicemail. Nobody is ever available and y’all ain’t that busy cuz I’ve been in the office and see how much traffic comes thru on average. For those of us that don’t have flexible schedules, it’s a tremendous hassle to have to leave a voice mail to schedule appointments, as I may not be available to accept their return call at a later time. This is super inconvenient. I can never reach anyone whenever I call. This is enough to have me search for a new doctor. I tried to give this doctor a fair chance, but I cannot deal with not being able to reach a live person when I need to. Totally unacceptable practice and way to conduct business for a doctors office!

I don't think I'll rely on reviews anymore, the 'five star' reviews couldn't... just...NO.My 92 y/o mother had an appt for 12:30 pm; we arrived on time with completed paperwork in hand. After more than an hour the receptionist told us 'they were waiting for an open exam room and we were next to be called on'. More time had passed and we were then placed in the (quiet area) hallway by the exam rooms presumably because I'd mentioned another appt made for later and was afraid to miss it. While sitting there, I noticed the empty exam room!It wasn't a busy day, only one patient in the waiting room when she arrived. We told the receptionist my mother just needed to be seen (Dr. or NP) because of an illness she has that was flaring up. While we were waiting in the hallway... by the empty exam room, the NP walked through the hallway and at least acknowledged our existence. She seemed to be nice, but Dr. Emmanuel went into one of the rooms, looked at us (her sitting in her wheelchair) and proceeded to go about his business.Looking back on it, I believe I should have picked up on the fact that the office was more concerned about the type of insurance she had and pretty much nothing else. Between the 'lip service', the wait time and the complete apathy shown to her, we decided to leave without seeing anyone!I REALLY believe a person should be very skeptical of the positive reviews found on this page.

I call to make an appointment and the recording states they are accepting walking-ins, i then proceed to make an appointment online and received confirmation that it was received. After speaking to one of the receptionist who scheduled me today 7/12/22, at 1:00pm as a new patient. I arrive 15 min early and was told by the receptionist, that they do not do walk-ins but she could fit me in, as she proceed to take my name then realizing that i am a new patient, she tells me i could not be seen today, they have nothing available until September. i asked her about the young lady who scheduled me and she said that individual was gone for the day, i asked about the online appointment and was told they don't use the online site, and that the phone message recording is also not accurate, I asked if the doctors was aware of both the phone recording and the online scheduling and she said yes, they are trying to get it updated. This is the worst customer service i have ever received from a doctors office, if the receptionist, online scheduling and the phone system is all incompetent, i can not imagine how the doctors operate here. This was my blessing in disguise, i do not what these doctors dealing with any of my health concerns, blood work or diagnoses. Very disappointing experience..

The service was very slow and inefficient. My wife and I waited more than 4 hours to have a but on my arm looked at and get a tetanus shot. After the nurse took my vitals and examined my arm we were sent to the waiting room to wait 30 minutes more and never got the shot. After reminding the receptionist we were waiting we were seated in the examination room waiting for an additional 1 hour without being seen by a doctor. My wife asked a nurse about the doctor and slow service the nurse told her " if you don't like the service here you can leave " in an insulting manner . We left and got my tetanus shot at a grocery store pharmacy without having to wait. Other patients with young children with fevers , etc also spent a long time to be seen. We rate this clinic 0 out of 10 for the inefficient , unprofessional staff. Patient First should be renamed patient last. George P

My husband and I were fortunate to find Dr. Brown, just a few days after moving to the Temple Hills area, in June 2019. We find him to be a very professional, knowledgeable and caring physician. He has taken on the needs of both my husband and I with much better care than we expected. He listens to our concerns and quickly decide the approach necessary to take care of us. As a result, I would recommend Dr. Brown to any one looking for a very smart, caring and proactive physician!.

I have been his patient for at least 9 years. He is very professional and concerned about providing the best care for his patients. I find him to be very accommodating and follows up with the advice given. He goes that extra step to ensure the patient has an understanding of their treatment. I have referred others and they are well pleased. The staff is also pleasant.
